You know how every preseason the media likes to judge South Carolina’s chances on how smug Spurrier is? Yeah, well…
Maybe it’s time to find a new tell.

Poor guy. Hope he takes it out on Sgt. Carter this weekend…brick by brick.
Unrelated note. I saw this on one of our Vandy boards, but it seems applicable to you guys. If we’re reading this right, it looks like the Georgia – Georgia Tech game will be on the SEC Network:

I don’t think the SECN is guaranteed a tripleheader….I know they aren’t every weekend.
That said, GT game at noon sounds about par for the course. Nobody GAS about them.

Just call it quits, Steve. You have nothing to prove, and only heartbreak lives in Columbia.

Columbia,SC. Where Gamecocks’ dreams go to die.

Unless that dream is beating Georgia.

Sigh. But, they were good enough to beat us. How? I don’t know..

Our defense has improved.

Has it? We just haven’t played teams with really good WRs in a few weeks.

We haven’t played a team with a good QB in a while, either.

Pretty amazing in a way. Coaches generally know what they have, especially one as astute as Spurrier.

SEC crappy officiating is how they beat us. That and a Kicker going cold.

Indeed. I was having lunch with a less-than-informed-about-CFB Auburn fan on Saturday (I know, I know, they all are). He said, “How did y’all lose to South Carolina?” I said, “Well, Thompson got hot and was throwing darts and that joker on the sideline can still call plays.” I was laughing as I was watching it Saturday night because I knew he was sitting in his recliner thinking “Wow. This kid is throwing darts and Spurrier is dialing up some plays.” If we play them in Athens, we win. If they play Auburn in Columbia, the Cocks win. It was what it was. What is harder to figure out is, given the cocks’ performance vs. us and Aubie, how in the world did they drop those two to UK and Mizzou?

Quit making excuses. Everybody knows why Georgia lost to South Carolina this season.

Spurrier’s visit to the swamp on the 15th should be entertaining.

shamecocks………no championships ever……oh wait. they won the acc in 1969 with a 7-4 record. could care less that we gave them the game last month. the facts are facts. would much rather be 6-1 with a chance than 4-4 and going absolutely nowhere. better watch out for dabo because his program is getting ready to pass the choking chickins. at least clempson does have a few championships. GATA JYD!!!!!!

Its been a crappy season. All we have to drown our sorry is beating y’all 4 out of the last 5. Sigh.

As long as we have coaches who don’t put the best player in college football on the field late in the fourth, with first and goal from the four, you will continue to beat us four out of five times.

At least you’ve got something. What’s Florida got?

They have a ton of hardware in the trophy case, but currently they got a dead man walking the sidelines. The Dawgs are poised to go 4 in a row.
I am torn on who to root for. On the one hand, UGA needs to carry the Eastern standard, because the rest of us are all varying degrees of suck. But I think Foley will fire Muschamp after a WLOCP loss – especially a big one – and the players will rally around his interim when South Carolina comes to Gainesville. But we are so godawful on the road, it probably wouldn’t matter.
