“He can’t catch it for them.”

Florida is on its sixth wide receivers coach in six years.  Think that might be a reason the Gators’ passing game blows?

Yes. And next year will be seven 😉

Even the best coaches can’t do much with no-talented receivers and quarterbacks. And lack of an offensive line has not helped any either. Considering how dominant the Gata offenses were under the Old Ball Coach and Corch, I never thought I’d be criticizing the Gatas like this.

There was a time we were going thru the same issues. We had receivers catching tennis balls in practice if I recall, saying all the right things. And they continued to drop passes. It’s fun to be on the other side of the confidence fence in Jax. I expect a dog fight, no doubt, but it’s nice to be favored.

I believe the former WR “coach”, Eason, is still on our payroll. Funny that we can’t get Gurley reinstated, but a poor assistant coach can get a lifetime job (likely has with plenty of benefits and a very nice pension). Our friends at BM have their priorities.

Interesting to see on that passer rating that GT is ahead of UGA.

  5. That and the fact that they haven’t had an even decent QB since Chris Leak. That’s a decade…

    Only one of several reasons.
