Keep bravado alive.

Georgia Tech’s rolled through three ACC powerhouses and the head man pronounces himself ready to tackle the remainer of the Jackets’ schedule.

So suddenly, yes: The next two weeks against Clemson and Georgia don’t seem as daunting.

“I’ve never been scared of them,” Johnson said. “They’ve been close games pretty much every year.”

Except, y’know, when they haven’t.

Probably should cut the genius a little slack here.  There have been so many losses, it’s probably hard to keep track of how they all went.

Not really thinking about Tech right now. I’m in Munson mode about AU. How in the world can we hold AU to less than 600 yds and 40 pts? Do we have it in us to score 40 + against them? Bobo should be uninstalling the kitchen sink this morning.

Pardon my french, but he is a doofus

Johnson must have only been at Tech since 2013 or he has a very short term memory

  4. I hope we can score 63 on them because we will need them all.

The last time the genius got cocky like that in the media he got his ass whipped by David Cutcliffe. Here’s hoping it works out just as well for him this time.

Georgia Tech has a football team?
BTW..Coach Genius…thanks for the bulletin board fodder.

42-10 is very close for Paul. You need his perspective to appreciate that remark. It’s about as close as he will ever come. I smell a fish fry.

  8. Had we not crapped the bed in the second half of 2008 he would be winless against us and his fish frying self would be gone. He is simply too arrogant to realize just how close he is to being out at gtu.

  9. He is a weapons grade jackass. He can’t show any respect and say something like “well those are two good teams but we’re gonna be ready to play them” or something like that. He’s gotta spout this phony macho nonsense about close games that didn’t actually exist.

Once again the GT scares me. Not the losing part, although they do run the ball and whether we defend it apparently depends on the mind set of our front 7. The damn chop/cut blocking makes this game a brutal one for me to think about. I find myself just hoping we get out of it with no injuries.

FWIW, we would never hear CMR talk like that and make an ass out of himself.
