This is a little encouraging.
Georgia has covered the number in four of the last five meetings in this series when played at Sanford Stadium.
The Bulldogs received a major performance from senior quarterback Hutson Mason, as he threw for a career-high four touchdown passes versus the Wildcats, while freshman running back Nick Chubb has tallied four consecutive 100-yard games on the ground. It’s important to point out that Georgia has scored 62 points off 19 turnovers this year.
Sports bettors will likely back the Bulldogs due to the favorite being 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings of this Southeastern Conference rivalry.
Depending on the sportsbook, Georgia is anywhere from a 1 to 2.5 point favorite right now.
Some very interesting lines on key games this week: UGA -1 Arkansas -1 against LSU, FSU -2′ against Miami Bama -6′ against Miss St
A&M -6′ against Mizzou TN -6′ against KY Fla -6 against SC
Can vary by sportsbook but those were some of local interest that caught my eye yesterday. Don’t necessarily disagree but surprised to see Hogs favored over LSU and how about #1 team getting a TD against Bama?

Saw those on our Fun Office Pools. Had the same take and it seemed easier to pick’em with what is perceived by at least two of us as a movable feast. I think some may change, but right now it’s hard to see a team voted and ranked as #1 being down 7 pts to the #3-4 ranked team. I’m not disagreeing too much, but why vote to rank them that way? Ranking only by Ws and Ls won’t get us the best 4 picks by the committee.
Can’t we just get a peek at Condi’s legs from that committee? That would make up some for the hosing CFB will get from this “Pick’em” bunch.

We’re not doing so great against our rivals this year. Squeaker over ut, and losses to scu and fu. I’m surprised vegas doesn’t give that more weight – ’cause I sure do.
We had better beat the barners and gtu, or I think most fans will consider it just another very mediocre season.

I always love this reasoning. All Vegas is doing is setting a line that will cause the money to fall equally on both sides. If Georgia is favored, that’s because the bettors think it should be.

What? No wonder I’ve been losing. 🙂
But I have wonderful company in my losing.

Agreed. That’s why I never care about or put much stock in betting lines.

No argument here. But I don’t believe ‘bettors’ and ‘think’ should be used in the same sentence.

If McGarity ever accepts another schedule, where we don’t play a game at home for 42 friggin days. He needs a sizeable boot put straight up his ass. I still believe that had a major effect in our flat play in Jax’ville.

And the congregation said amen. I don’t necessarily believe it was the factor in the UF loss, but it’s absurd that they played on the road for such a long stretch.

Had nothing to do with McGarity representing to boosters in Little Rock and allowing Richt to believe Todd would be back for UF and then not delivering though.
Because according to the man behind the Georgia Way curtain, no such representations or HC misunderstandings ever occurred. UGA got the very best deal from the NCAA possible and Pollyanna tells us so…
