“Whether or not I wear orange is still up in the air.”

Let’s face it, Dawgnation.  Just like Mark Richt, we’re all Lulu and Junior now.

I thought TAMU had a real shot. I doubt Tennessee does. Arkansas? Maybe.

Vegas apparently thinks Tennessee has a “real shot” considering they’re 3 point favorites.

The game is at UT. Even when UT is sh!tty the Vols are tough at home. This game would get UT bowl eligible so expect a serious effort from the Vols. If UT were to win this game, win against Vandy and then win a lower-level bowl, the Vols could get to 8 wins. That would be their most wins since 2007 and their first winning season since 2009. I expect the Vols to play like their hair is on fire.

Plus, it’s Senior Day/Night. However, if the game is close, Missouri tends to find a way to win. Let’s hope the team that lost to us shows up.

They are a different team with Dobbs at QB. I predict a UT win. They’re rolling…

I would absolutely LOVE to be wrong. I ain’t going to wear orange. I never do during the season (Tennessee, Clemson, Florida, Auburn – nothing good wears orange). But I will pull for them. Unfortunately, I think they do have the right coach now. In a couple of years Tennessee will be a tough win once again.

Also, I’m impressed with that FR RB UT has. At minimum, UT should keep it close.

Both Ark and Tenn are changed teams and better than when we met them. They both have a shot. Pinkel is a good coach who will get Mizzou ready. Our win at Mizzou looks like King Kong now.

If Missouri wins it, they will earn it.

Agreed, and I still fear they’ll pull it off.

Hopefully the Vowels can pull it off, or maybe Arky gets their second SEC win.

What does Indy’s win at Mizzou look like? Like our J-ville game?

Agree, Cojo. I think there is a decent chance Mizzou loses both of them. TN on the road this weekend will be the best chance of the two because their offense has found a QB and they have the receivers back.

    • Arkansas would do well to follow our game plan. They have some running backs that can pound it.

Tennessee is better now that they have a QB who can make plays, but Arkansas is basically the same team Georgia beat. They just finally managed to win a game against a one-dimensional and likely flat LSU team.

If Arkansas had maintained their run commitment, the game would’ve been closer. However, that one series early on where they lined up and then tried to throw and we kept backing them up just freaked out their OC. If I was Arky, I’d run, run, and run some more. Maybe throw a pass every possession or two just to keep Missouri honest.

Okay, I admit it. I do have orange shirts but they all have a “V” and crossed sabres. Let’s hope the Vols come through.

there’s some irony in needing UT to win this wknd when in ’07 we wanted/needed them to lose.

desperation acquaints a man with strange bedfellows.

I worry about the utenn OL vs Mizzou DL, but otherwise I like their chances.
And it’s easier for me to pull for a team that the Dawgs have beaten 5 yrs in a row. That’s also to say ‘pull for’ in relative terms.

Right, the OL has been their problem all year long. Now with a mobile QQ they have a chance to work on the Mizzou LBs and secondary because their offensive line will handle TN’s rush game. I really liked their chances before AJ Johnson’s incident this past weekend, now I think it will be tough. Thankfully, the Vols are at home and pumped up about a bowl. It is hard for me to get “Go Vols” out of my throat too, and I have no orange threads, zero.

Arkansas is my big hope for beating Mizzou. Hogs should be fired up after finally winning an SEC game. Missouri is well coached, however. Their guys have been coached up about as well as any team in this league.

I made peace with this yesterday… I’m not pulling for TN to win, I am pulling for Mizzou to lose…may not be different, but sounds better in my head!

I appreciate the CMR’s wry sense of humor on this subject. Here’s to Mizzou losing, no matter to who/how.

Whatever happened to the red hot Tennessee coed who was up for bid with tickets a couple of years ago? I’d wear Bill Dance’s hat if I could get that deal.

Damn, I thought maybe you went away for good. You will also yell “roll tide” and “go tech” and mean it. I bet you would even post “we just beat the hell out out of Georgia” right after the entire Bulldog Nation takes a huge punch in the gut.
