Way to go, college athletics.

As I feared, you’re on the verge of letting the camel’s nose into the tent.

To paraphrase Gordon Gekko, greed is good, but only to the extent you can keep the government out of your business.

Maybe the NCAA ought to replace Mark Emmert with a Wall Street banker.

Yep, because those bozos in Washington have everything ship-shape and in good order here and around the world, the economy is humming, no scandals in the government, not spending too much money they don’t have on wasteful programs that never have worked, and on and on.. they need to get this going. Great!

The only real difference between the NCAA and Congress is that the former doesn’t have the trustworthiness and likeability of the latter.

NCAA may be in for a big surprise. Politicians can not afford to look like they are endorsing the second class citizenship of college football players.
