It’s a shame that we can’t appeciate the difficulties of others’ situations just because we think our situation is worse. I have enough student debt to equal an extra house payment, but even if I didn’t, I’d still be pissed if others were profiting off my name and I wasn’t allowed to do the same.

Athletes that are prominent enough for the school to directly profit off of their likeness should have escrow accounts set up for them where they receive a percentage (I suggest 50%) after their playing days are over.
