“It’s difficult for our fans. We understand that.”

Tough sell.

Ah, Shreveport.  The memories there…

Maybe I’m the only one, but I had a decent time in Shreveport. No worse than most of the other bowl trips.

People forget that there’s gambling there. Plus the LSU crowd shows up no matter who’s playing. As far as they’re concerned it’s SEC football, a party, and a cheap ticket to boot!

Agreed. I drove up from Houston, met my Dawg friends, and had a good time watching the Ginger Ninja whip A&M.

        It’s still football.

I heard that! I would much rather be in Shreveport! The casinos, the food, the great LSU people we partied with… good times!

So much for those loyal Gamecock fans. They have a little success (though still no BCS bowl game or conference title) and now they are too good for certain bowl games.

I can’t understand why the AD is proclaiming that it’s difficult for their fans. Any bowl game is a good year considering their miserable history. If they hadn’t beaten us, they wouldn’t be going to a bowl game at all.

I imagine Miami has sold even less than SC. There’s going to be about 3000 people at that game.

      Don’t remind me. Florida, too.

      • That sure was nice of us to earn the SEC a couple million bucks from 2 more teams being bowl eligible.

Nice of the SEC to repay us by fucking us come bowl selection time.

Completely different selection process. The bowls we were eligible for are no longer ranked in descending order. Now they are all equal. Teams are qassigned to games by the conference in consultation with the bowl committees. It’ll take some getting used to.

Saw UGA TAMU there. The Ginger Assassin was on fire!!! It’s a great place to watch a game-like someone said, cheap tix, good hospitality and not a bad seat in the house.

It warms my heart to see South Carolina beginning to Carolina again. I know they’ve beaten us a lot recently but I never bought it that they were some kind of contender now and turned the mythical corner. They fell ass backwards into the greatest collection of high school talent there state has ever produced and probably ever will produce. Spurrier and their delusional fans can all suck it. Watching the other show come cascading down is going to be fun.

I am sure many are buying tickets on the secondary market for 1/4 the price USC is charging.
