There goes Herschel.

If your typical picture is worth a thousand words, how many would you give this one?

Oh my, indeed.

Blow that up and put it on the wall in the weight room and cafeteria.

  2. Can we appeal to the NCAA for his remaining year of eligibility? We’re on a roll with Houston.

Why won’t we hire Herschel as running backs coach. Also, he would make sure the Dawgs will get fired up for every game and “not” go in half-stepping.

My guess would be that he has NO coaching experience, B Mac is a very good coach and probably the best running back recruiter in the country.
Why would anyone want to replace a coach that could get Chubb AND Sony in the same class when we already had Gurley AND Marshall (same class) getting all the minutes?
Love me some H Walker and he has a place on the sidelines, just not as a coach.

Some would take a post about this program’s brightest star and turn it into an opportunity to take a cheap shot directed at the staff. May have been meant tongue-in-cheek but it is indicative of how far over the edge many have gone. B-Mac may be the most productive of all coaches at UGA but cannot escape the escape the “clean house” mentality. And don’t overlook the shot at the team not being ready just because they weren’t perfect. Delusional? Me thinks so, no end to it for some. Just some folks live in misery, if it isn’t there, they invent it.

      • That comment presumes that Walker would like to turn his back on his business interests, that he runs, controls and makes millions off of, to be an assistant college coach making McGarityish wages, spending nights and weekends trying to convince snotty teenagers who think they are the most important people in the world to play for you, and ultimately have your fate in the hands of others.

That is as realistic as thinking Billy Payne will say goodbye to the Augusta National so he can coach defensive ends or Fran Tarkington getting out of the software business to coach our QBs.

  3. technically those are chin ups not pull ups. Didn’t he say push ups and sit ups were his only work out before college?

  4. He has said that’s all he did during college and the NFL, although that’s hard to believe. But Herschel’s genetics are practically superhuman, so maybe so.
