UPDATE #2:

Grantham told reporters of his familiarity with the Bulldogs, “I don’t think that will play as big a factor as you guys will make it out to be” in the upcoming game.

“It still gets down to getting off blocks,” Grantham said, “tackling people, winning one-on-one battles. … They’re one of the best offenses in the country. We know we’ve got to play well.”

How does it feel to go from a great program with a great head coach and a long history in the best conference in the country to a shitty program, with no history and a back-stabbing, skirt-chasing boss…for money?

What really happened in 2013? Care to address the rumors that your defensive staff and the offensive staff were at each other’s throats last year? Before Louisville’s offer, had you been notified that you would not be returning in 2015? What was it like having Garner’s shitty coaching on the DL basically ruin the most talented defense you’ll ever have? What is your opinion in UGA’s S&C program relative to Louisville’s?

Funny how folks bash garner but not the man who insisted he stay for years on end.

Oh no, I’ve been pretty clear on my thoughts about this. I think that was one of Richt’s biggest mistakes.

Fair enough. My comment wasn’t directed toward you specifically as much as it was the overall sentiment on this blog by fellow commenters. My favorite is when people call Auburn dirty and accuse Garner of being the bag man and/or facilitator

  7. Ahhhh🎈🎈🎈I know you love Louisville …was there for a game against the OBC once. I like a town with Bars that open at 9:00 and a Gun shop next door. Good Luck in the Belk Bowl. See you, wouldn’t wanna be you.😚

    • No, you were not in Louisville for a game against Spurrier. Florida never played at Louisville in 1964-1966 when spurrier was a player . Florida did not play Louisville anywhere in 1978 when Spurrier was the QB coach. Georgia Tech did not play Louisville anywhere in 1979 when Spurrier was the QB coach. Duke never played in Louisville from 1980 to 1982 when Spurrier was head coach. Neither Florida during 1990 through 2001 or SC from 2005 have played in Louisville.

Unless you claim you went to a UF freshman team game in Louisville in 1963 and checked out the bars or you claim you saw the NFL 49ers or Buccaneers play Louisville or the USFL Bandits play Louisville you never were in Louisville watching the OBC play or coach football.

      • You are correct! I was there for the SC Louisville game in 199?. Had a date with a guy that was there for the game and to attend his 20th HS reunion. So, the OBC was not there. Just thought as it being a game against him because He Is all SC Now. I need to hire a fact checker. Interested?

Yeah, you need a fact checker. According to cfbdatawarehouse.com SC has never played Louisville, anywhere.
You may have had a date to a Louisville game, but it wasn’t to see the OBC or SC.

  11. We all know that facing Hutson mason is the number 1 challenge you’ve faced in your career as a defensive coach. What makes him such a threat? If georgia runs the ball 60 times thereby limiting the number of opportunities that mason has to exploit your unit can we look at that and say your plan worked? Isn’t taking away the pass the objective for this game? Can we expect you to play nickel or a dime package as your base defense in order to take away the downfield passing threat? If Georgia opens empty with five wide will your fear cause your to shit or to go blind or are you still deciding? Play NFL gm for a moment. 3, 4 or 5 the Number of future first round picks you would trade to have the opportunity to draft no. 1 next Year and take Hutson mason? Which 7 NFL hall of fame qbs does Hutson mason remind you of?

Personally, I think you’ve got have good towel use to really be successful against today’s offenses. We practice our towel after mat drills every week.”
