Nick Marshall is looking for another chance.

I’m not sure if it’s by choice or by design, but it’s a little strange to see Hutson Mason, Dylan Thompson and Blake Sims all invited to college football all-star games and Nick Marshall not.

I’d imagine that it’s because everyone involved would like to leave with the cash and iPods/iPhones they arrived with.

Nicely played. Had he stayed a DB he would have the potential to be a pretty high draft pick. He has some freakish talent.

Not surprising to me at all. NM is a nice enough running back, but a QB not so much.

It’s interesting to ponder why, if he wanted a professional career, he switched to QB? Other than just being happy at a second chance at any position? Or is he even that forward thinking? Perhaps he thought he could be a good enough QB? I don’t know.

Obviously he was the best QB that Auburn had. He didn’t place himself in that position.

I would imagine that , by playing several positions, he emphasises his athleticism to best value to the NFL. Nevermind that he’s a thief.

actually He was the starter as a QB in JUCO. He made the decision to play QB in JUCO and at AU. He was a very good College QB the last couple of years. His call and he will have to live with it.

Maybe he is listed as a CB.

His football career reached it’s apex in 2013.

    Kind of sad, actually.

I don’t really care where Nick Marshall ends up, whether it’s the NFL or the CFL or Harvard Law. I’m just glad I was in Sanford Stadium on November 15 to see Nick and his mates go down 34-7. That one did me a lot of good.

And Cannon..when you think about that job by Georgia…and the job they did on ARK, MO, and L’ville, you have to wonder just what could have been for the Dawgs…
YES the whuppin’ the way they put Gus back on the Bus was fantastic!

Sure, Ugly, we’ve probably all wondered how close we were to the big cigar only to end up without so much as one good puff from it. But hey, maybe things are starting to line up for us–a strong incoming class of recruits, a good coaching staff, returning starters like Mitchell, Chubb, Floyd, Jenkins, Sanders, and company. There’s reason for optimism. Plus, we get another chance to kick Auburn’s ass again.

Marshall…meh. Nice to see The Noodle getting some attention. If there is any justice he will have a big game and get drafted if that’s what he wants.

Does he actually think he can play QB in the NFL? With his level of accuracy, he’ll have about a 50% interception rate outside of hail mary-type heaves.

I honestly think he has a better chance of pitching in MLB than he does playing QB in the NFL. Good grief, what an arm.

  8. Hell he’s got just as much of a chance as any of those 3. Better athlete and its not like “NFL QB” is my first thought when thinking about any of them. Maybe NFL clipboard holder.

Hutson Mason is an All Star? Has anyone checked with Derek or commentators at Dawgsports about this? Stop the madness!
