I don’t know about you, but if I were Rece Davis this morning, I’d be on my knees profusely thanking everyone responsible for this decision. Hell, I’d probably sacrifice an animal and make a burnt offering to whatever broadcasting god I pray to for getting me out of an embarrassment like this:
Sadly, someone is now going to have to step into the role he’s vacated. Er, make that the robe he’s vacated.

Anything to get Chris Fowler off GameDay works for me. Davis will be great and may get me to start watching the show again.

I was in Atlanta for the 2011 SECCG against LSU and staying at the Embassy Suites near the Dome and the Gameday crew was also staying there. BTW, Desmond Howard is the biggest prima Donna around! On the Friday before the game, I was in the hotel lobby and the three Gameday hosts walked in (each escorted by a cop) from one of their live segments. In a Freudian slip, I said “how’s it going Reece” when Fowler walked by and he promptly said “it’s Chris”. Guess I was just foreshadowing things to come lol.

I don’t want to be mean but Lee Corso has just stayed on too long. He’s funny in the oh yea that guy’s had a stroke kind of way, I think he is a nice guy, I met him in Jax one year at the WLOCP and he was very friendly. That said it is time for Pollack to take over. Desmon Howard is just a Heisman winner, he adds nothing to the conversation.
