    FWIW I think they will have a tough team this season. Don’t think they’re a favorite, but don’t sleep on them, either.

      I agree, Russ. We should be favored to win the East, but if we trip over our own shoelaces again then the door can suddenly become wide open for Tennessee (among others). At this point I don’t see UT being underdogs to UF or USCe, so Mizzou and UGA will be the hurdles. We’ll get an early idea of where they’re at when OU shows up at Neyland on Sep 12.

        They also have Bama and Arkansas from the West. They will lose 4 to 6 games.

          Maybe 4, yeah, but I don’t see them losing 6 (assuming, of course, that they stay relatively injury and felony free). They travel out of state only 4 times, but yes they do have Ala and Ark from the East.

          But hey, I’m fine with them losing 6 or more, as long as one of those losses comes on Oct 10.

    I have been watching the storyline unfold. It is better than UGA will underachieve again. I am happy for Butch to take the spotlight.

        Absolutely right. I always prefer the “UnderDawg” role. Seems to work better for us. No doubt UT will be tough, but so what else is new? That’s life in the SEC.

    Missouri has beaten Tennessee three straight and is the two-time defending champion.

    Missouri is still the team to beat in the East.

    They’ve played us very close the last two years. He’s proven to be a good coach and he’s got a lot of talent on that roster.

    I hope we’re not the first team to underestimate them next year.

      Florida and Arkansas get the chance to test what TN has next year, we shouldn’t be surprised. Tough time to draw them the week after Bama but they have a physical test with the Hawgs o it is pretty even. I think TN will be improved but not to our level, if we are healthy and play them hard we should win that game. Let them want it more and it will be close.
