Visits at GTP in January and February managed to reach the million mark. That is amazing to me.
Thanks to all of you for the attention.

I’ll have a congratulatory brownie for you. 🙂
Well done, Senator!
For you, a round of your choice from my new favorite brown water drinks: Angel’s Envy, Black Saddle, or the new Woodford Reserve (when I can find it). The off season is flying by thanks to the debate material you provide. Here we are at the Spring practice/The Masters overlap already. Gracious.
Ohmygosh I got a bottle of that Woodford Reserve and I heard the angels sing.
I am at the Gulf in LA and the ABC stores aren’t exactly “all in”. I am sure it will be worth waiting for but I am still jealous. Aged in Port Wood I believe, sounds somewhat heavenly.
How did you breach security and get onto the the grounds of the Redneck Riviera? This clearly shows that they’re going to need a bigger wall before the Hangout Festival
I swam in from Gitmo on the last release. Anyone can come in from the south without being stopped. Thanks Comrade! (Don’t go to the Flor-a Bama on weekends, it is a better target than the malls in the area.)
Am convinced that when it’s all over, there will only be two things that can’t be killed: cockroaches and the Flora-Bama Lounge & Package Store
Far from being on its death bed, it seems to be thriving….even with the mid-western version of yanks. Place is a phenom, with the lowest capital budget evah. They must have spent all of $800 recovering from Ivan.
Cleanse yo palate…
Damn! I didn’t realize Cojones was visiting the blog that much.
Who loves ya, baby?
You make the off season much more bearable, and for that, we thank you.
it must be fun to watch that hit counter spin.
It’s gotten so that the commentary from the forum is supplying synergy on its own, nice recumbent hits model Bluto.
So who was the millionth hitter? Does he get a big prize?
A prize would be awesome. Just as long as it’s not a reduced priced, needs-based ticket to a michigan game 😉
Ist prize was a free membership to the blog…..wait……
1st prize actually was a dinner with Paul Finebaum.
2nd place prize was two dinners with Paul Finebaum.
Football, politics…just missing religion for the trifecta of generating comments.
The Romans worked hard, were well educated and productive in their athletic programs (e.g. Gladiator matches) which were precursors to today’s modern football. Jesus was poor…a taker from society? Discuss…
What have the Romans and the Peoples Front of Judea ever done for us
Can’t top most of the comments already made. Just Thanks, Senator. This is one of the few places you can go for intelligent commentary and (mostly) civil, well reasoned responses on topics of vital interest to Dawgs everywhere.
Congratulations but it doesn’t surprise me. This is by far the best I’ve come across. Like Just Chuck stated it’s intelligent commentary and civil. It amazes me how the constant cry babies haven’t found this place. The ONLY knock I have is the occasional cursing used by The Senator. I know, I know, “put your big boy pants on” “it’s a sports blog”. I get it….. but I do love the Dawgs and GTP.
Apologies. I tend to write as I speak in casual settings. Sometimes that gets the better of me.
No apologies needed. Thanks for the great place to come and get info!
You actually talk that bad in person?
He a bad mutha . . . shut yo mouth. But I’m just talking bout the senator.
I wish you would stop blogging like a choir boy and talk like you do for real . . . but you probably get arrested and can’t do no blog from jail.
It’s a great blog, Senator, and thanks for all the work you put into it. I see you’re closing in on 25M hits overall. It doesn’t seem like that long ago when you hit 10M, so the hits are climbing like the coaching salaries.
Good blog, well deserved….out of curiosity, does that amount to much financially for you?
Ad money isn’t bad, especially because, as I’d still blog without it, it’s found money.
I hope he makes enough off it to buy him a vacation home on
Tybee! Then maybe he will keep doing it.
You guys need to click on the ads a lot more for that to happen. 😉
Do you have an opening stock price in mind for when you launch the IPO for this enterprise, Senator? Say, $34 per share?
I see what you did there. Well played.
Thanks for the time and effort you put into this blog. I thoroughly enjoy it!
