“He should be fine in a matter of weeks.”

Well, this sucks.

Georgia tailback Sony Michel has re-injured his collarbone and is expected to miss the rest of spring practice, head coach Mark Richt confirmed.

The injury will not require an operation, added Richt.

Seriously, tough luck for Sony.  You hope this isn’t something that chases him throughout his career.

  1. Broke mine in the middle of the season; it was a year before I was truly healed.

On the flip side, this means marshall can get some more reps, which he will probably need due to missing so much time too.

Also, they might as well just make him go no-contact until the season starts. We are deep enough and play enough early cupcakes that he can get some serious reps in without worry about it causing any issues due to lack of contact.

  4. Although, after seeing a photo from last week, Sony looks like a tank. I’m surprised anything short of a .308 round would injure him.

I think Michel is tough enough but feel he is value the next two years will not require him to run up the gut for the tough yards. He might seem injury prone with this second injury but I think we will see him a good bit. It is Williams at WR that I am more concerned about, seems he is one of those who may never make it to the field enough to make his mark. (Changed my .308 last year for an AR15 but man that was a beast of a gun. More fire power and range than I needed.)

We can continue to hope that Hegedus keeps getting better.

        What’s happened to Williams?

What’s wrong with one of each? You’ll appreciate the power and range when the zombie apocalypse happens.

True, will need all I can get soon enough. I bought the .308 on a whim and didn’t realize how difficult the bolt action would be for a lefty, plus the clip was four cartridges only and I am too old to not need a full complement of mulligans. I live on top of a mountain so the zombies will have to come up the steep slope very slowly giving me plenty of time and not having to fire from long range.

This sounds like a new injury if it actually is his collar bone. The original injury against UT was his shoulder blade. Hard to know if it will make a difference.

Pepperdine U’s strength and conditioning program has reported no collar bone breaks over the past 10 seasons. Richt should have hired their guy, but we just continue to accept mediocrity and 10 win seasons. If Schotty just throws the ball deep more, though, we should be OK. I blame Pruitt for letting his guys bang-up Sony.
