Hoping that Morgan is not going to have a Blair Walsh senior season.

Six passes to the TEs for good yardage. Yea!

Ganus continues to get after it.

Saw some of this as live stats on 247 earlier. Great report and we haven’t even gotten to Spring Game. Looks like that O-line is opening holes for Turman and Douglas. Wow!

they always do that in the Spring and Summer, but UGA doesn’t throw to tight ends anymore, not in Richt’s philosophy. It’s WR or checkdown rb’s.

Blazevich was 3rd on the team in receiving yards last year troll. Lynch was 3rd in 2013.

Blazevich was tied for 603rd in number of receptions in 2014. Blazevich also wasn’t in the top 100 for even avg. yards per reception. Hopefully, an NFL pedigree of a coach will improve in the tight end area where CMR and Bobo were so inept.

Well everyone knew Chubb was just holding the spot until Turman got there.

If Chubb doesn’t pick it up by G day, he’ll lose the job. Obviously a slacker.

i disagree. Chubb will be the starter even if the other RB continues to average 8 yards per carry. We don’t know which defensive unit those carries were made against. Chubb is a known commodity. But he will likely get hurt or suspended, a key running back always does,. It’s the Georgia way.

Looks like Faton is making a move. Guess Slinging Sammie goes to the scout team. Life ain’t fair sometimes.

Did we not punt the ball? I don’t see how a punter with a bulging disc can long survive…a serious worry for me.

Ramsey will be the starter, they’re just making Bauta think he has a chance because they need him around in case Brice gets injured in the Fall. He doesn’t. Richt don’t change his mind during off-seasons about his Qb. defaults to experience. use some common sense now. Anyone been watching Richt this long knows that.

Yep, I recognized that hand writing too. I guess he found another PC and name to post by. He prolly won’t be here long, I doubt the Senator has the patience for the sound of a broken record.

It’s Thomas Brown. He’s easier to spot than a turd in a punchbowl.

It’s not Thomas brown. This guy spells better and uses complete sentences for the most part. Equally trolly but far more eloquent than Thomas

      • I don’t know how long you’ve been watching Richt, but…

        — Phillips had more experience than Greene. (Carter had more experience than both, for that matter.) Greene grabbed the starting job from the opener.

        — JTIII had more experience than Stafford. It was just a matter of time ’til he started.

BTW, if Richt is just humoring Bauta, wouldn’t common sense suggest doing the same with Park to keep all three around?

Mr Crab has better points than you on this one Senator. Let’s face it, 12 out of 14 seasons, roughly 85% of CMR’s career, CMR chose experience at Qb, you found the 15% when CMR didn’t. Also, you were wrong in saying there was a rotation at Qb in the sacrimmages last week. That turned out to be false too as Park still isn’t getting his |open competition| shot. Ask Logan Gray or Lemay or Mettenberger, all transferred due to CMR’s definition of |open competition|. Da Crab for da win!

            This comment makes ZERO sense.

First of all Mettenberger didn’t transfer fuck nut. He was kicked off the team because of a misdemeanor assault charge.

Lemay transferred because he never developed and didn’t Learn the playbook. He couldn’t even beat out Parker Welch for the backup spot.

Logan Grey transfered because the all time leading passer in SEC history beat him out. Aaron Murray was less experienced and younger than Grey at the time so this one would go to the Senator. Mr crab was arguing that Richt always goes with the more experienced guy. Remember?

And where’d you get the 85% and 15% number? Pulled it right out of your ass

If Richt went with experience 85% of the time then he would have started Logan Grey over Aaron Murray Yet you use that example in defense of your argument…. dumbass

There also wasn’t a Qb battle in all 14 seasons so that 12 out of 14 shit doesn’t make sense either. The QB position has only really been open a few times in Richt 14 years. Murray started for 4 years, Green 4, Stafford 3. That’s 11 years there. There haven’t been that many QB battles really. Once you win the starting spot and you’re breaking records like Greene, Stafford and Murray did, you dont have a Qb competition after that.

In the case of Greene, JT3 and Murray, Richt went with youth. That’s not %15 of the time. Thats 66% of the time. He went with youth 3 times and experience 2 times with Mason and Cox. What other times in Richt’s tenure has the QB position really been open?

When you practically never win championships with your chosen leader(1 title between your example of 11 years between Stafford-Greene-Murray) why keep the Qb slot the same unless you enjoy not winning titles? Most coaches have a bit more championship radar at Qb than CMR.

Two of the three quarterbacks you mentioned held the record for most wins in NCAA football. The other was a number one draft pick in the NFL. I guess maybe MAYBE you could argue that Shockley could have played more. But I think it’s a difficult case to make. Who could plausibly have replaced Stafford or Murray?

Because no matter what’s working or not working, if you’re not winning championships you must change the QB. So you can continue to not win championships but also potentially lose more games because you’re not using your best QB.

Ganus led in tackles again. Even if he is playing against the 2nd team O, it’s still impressive. He obviously very active. Feels a little like a Cinderella story. I hope he does well.
The surprise to me is Faton Bauta. I see only passing stats, no rushing stats.
Parks’ numbers seem low again. Only 8 attempts. Not sure what is going on there. Maybe we will learn more by the time the spring game is here.
Glad to see Mitchell and JSW with stats. I feel better about their health.
I see that Marshall is on the sideline still. I wonder if he tweaked something the other day? I sure hope he can get healthy to play this year…for him.
I love seeing the TE’s get into the fray. There’s just something about seeing a big TE rumbling through the opponents secondary.
Speaking of big guys…I’m pulling for little McKenzie to make a splash. That’s a message to kids everywhere to keep working no matter your size.
I’ll hang up and listen now…

I know it was bogus when Richt put out that B.S. last scrimmage about it was just Ramsey’s turn in the rotation. now we know it was b.s. Senator fell right into it. Hindsight 20/20 Senator? Now you agree with us that Park never was a par tof the “open competition? Or you towing the “just his turn in the rotation” line?

    i got my GDay precition:
Bauta will win on yards, completions percentage, throw more td’s, and less int’s than Ramsey. Ramsey will of course win the job in the Fall. Just the way Richt rolls pretty much every year.
