    Eerily reminiscent of Blair Walsh’s 2011 season – FG inaccuracy that was season long – between a good Jr. year and great NFL debut. Not saying we need a FT ST coach, but something is clearly lacking in our coaching of kickers. Barber’s been bad for 2 full years now. What do we have – like 8 quality control assistants now?

    Well coach, we’ve had 3 years to coach him up OR decide he can’t handle it and replace him. So instead of recruiting a punter or putting an all-points bulletin out for preferred walk-on punters, we’re bringing in another kicker and hoping he might improve the situation. Worrying about the punting now reminds me of the old adage ‘a day late and a dollar short’. I’m not so sure Barber is the one who is most responsible for the situation.
