Enjoy the comedic stylings of PAWWWLLL! and Nick, together again.
Blockbuster! Phyllis from Mauga goes nuts!
“I know nothing about any such rumors. I don’t even know who you’re talking about but I don’t know about any of those things.”
Which makes Nick Saban the only person in America who follows college football closely and claims he’s never even heard of Braxton Miller. Uh hunh. Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk…
They’ll be here all week, folks. Try the venison.
What? You out of veal?

It was either venison or lard. Not many options over ‘yonder’…

Yeah, I thought it was a pretty clever line.

I really hope he doesn’t transfer to Bama. Not because I think he’s a bad QB; he’s pretty good.
It’s a temporary fix and even then, given his injury history there’s no guarantee that he’ll make it an entire season. It shows no confidence in your current QBs, which doesn’t help you in the long run.
And we already have 5 QBs on scholarship; adding a 6th seems insane, even if QB is the most important position. It’s a recipe for one of the young guys to transfer.
Go with the guys you have and work real hard to develop the younger guys. If Blake Sims can be successful, I’m sure one of the 5 guys we have now can be successful as well.

I kinda hope it happens because: 1) it messes with that whole Jake Coker meme we heard all last summer about how he was going to lead Bama to the promised land 2) it screws over Corch. While I think Saban is a genuine prick, Meyer has to be the biggest sleaze-ball and jerk in college football. However, if it was to happen, I really wish that the NCAA would find that Bama inappropriately handled the transfer and gets hit with some kind of probation. But hoping the NCAA actually succeed at something right, just isn’t a good or logical practice.

I read that to mean that Saban didn’t know who the source was, not Braxton Miller…but I may be confused.
