I knew that song sucked.

Texas A&M had to reinforce the south end zone stands at Kyle Field after they shifted unsettlingly during the Aggies’ loss to LSU because of the playing of “Sandstorm”.

I wonder if that’s what McGarity was referring to when he said “…we have an opportunity to do certain things that will get our crowd excited in a proactive manner, rather than in a reactive manner.”

Every time I click on one of these CBS articles it asks me to sign up for a free trial (oh goodie) and does not show me the article. Is that just me? Is it because I’m using a phone? Did the bleachers shift because the hearts of A&M fans were so heavy after their loss? I may never know.

All other things being equal, if you put Aaron Murray at quarterback of the 2014 Georgia Bulldogs I think they win the SEC and possibly the national championship. When you’re getting that kind of running back production on a team with a decent passing attack, imagine what you’d get out of the team with a great passer.

That may have been Greg’s answer to the rhetorical question of, “What’s the frequency, Darude?”

Can I assume he’s not talking about scoring touchdowns and creating turnovers on defense?

If so, I would be happy with shorter lines at the concessions and restrooms. The first step to proactive excitement is to have the fans actually at their seats.

You have to realize that more than a few fans could give two shits about actually watching the game. Otherwise, why would they be staring at their mobile devices?

LOL. After I leave a game I have to get caught up with all the calls and txts I missed.

Noon kickoffs against Northern Nobody State aren’t going to be exciting no matter what crap music McGarity forces people to listen to. When there is a reason to be excited and into the game, our fans are as good as any.

Most big time schools have at least two gimme’s on the schedule…unless I’m just reading schedules wrong.

No doubt, and they are about as well attended by students and as exciting to fans as ours are. One of my best friends is a Clemson grad and ticket holder. He complains the same as our fans do. To make things worse for him, some of their better games have been on Thursday night, in Clemson, where there are NO hotels. It’s the same for all big programs, but fake juice isn’t going to make the games any more exciting.

Party tunes at ear splitting volume, video shows on jumbotrons, find Uga games, non stop commercials on the ribbon boards and crowd cams are all part of the attempt to transform college football into a more NFL like model. If the team is playing well against an interesting opponent, the crowd will be into the game and will be “excited in a proactive manner”. All the other crap is nothing more than fake juice and fake juice never works.

I may be a young whippersnapper, but many of my fellow whippersnapper friends and I have liked how the Sanford experience has changed over the past few years, especially the music part. The sing-a-long cam is also fun.

The sing along cam is OK, as long as the sing along occurs when something somewhat positive is happening on the field. The sing along during the tech game came at a time when tech had scored to take the lead or something and the fans weren’t exactly in a singing mood.

I don’t like the piped in music. There is a huge band sitting in one end of the stadium, let them play. If they are determined to pipe in music, at least mix it up a little. The fans that are paying the most don’t generally want to listen to the latest rap music every time the speakers crank up.

I’m cynical in a proactive manner about these things.

I’m sure Jimbo will stand up for his qb for defending himself against a brutal attack. If this had been a full on rape that was caught on tape, Jimbo would have reverted to his harsh disciplinarian mode and sat the qb for a half of a game to be determined later.

In some way the video doesn’t show, De’andre must be defending his mama. I’m sure that’s it.
