Through the hot seat looking glass

I haven’t linked to Coaches Hot Seat Blog in a while, but I’ve got to mention the oddest thing I’ve seen lately:  Nick Saban sitting sixty-three degrees hotter than Mark Richt on a list ranking the seat warmth of every D-1 coach in the business.

I mean, isn’t it against the law in Alabama merely to express disappointment in Saban’s performance?

The chair the coach sits in at Alabama starts out pretty hot. Patience is not a virtue in Alabama. They bitched about Bear when he got older. Saban’s record in Tuscaloosa is decent, but only that.

How can he not be on the hot seat? He has the highest rated recruits EVERY year, has the best facilities, largest staff, and makes the most money. He underachieves every single year he doesn’t go undefeated according to the formula of the geniuses here.

Who compiles this dogshit list? It is less than meaningless.

Yeah, the Top 10 are probably in reverse order in reality and having Saban and Les Miles on it at all is crazy. Plus, including Mike Gundy on it at all is nuts. Okie State never won sh!t before he showed up.
