Hate it for the kid, but 2 biceps tendon tears seems pretty rare and likely tied to the S&C regimen. Also hate it that it gives people more excuses if/win the Dawgs win

Nobody cares about our excuse when we lose; I don’t care if they have an excuse when we win.

That link goes to CBS but no story there.
Sounds like TN as the “sleeper” candidate to win the East just became more of a dream than before.

Very sad for the kid, clearly an indication that there are some loose bricks in the UT strength and conditioning program and probably in the nutrition program there.

Always hate to hear about players losing their seasons. especially before they start.
However, I understand Tennessee has a greyshirt OL ready to step in.
Also, FSU, FAU, and Cincinnati (Tuberville) just upped their COA payments beyond Tennessee’s NCAA-leading payment. Expect Tennessee to reciprocate.
Time to buy more bricks.

Just means they will lean more on their QB and WRs. Hope Pruitt shares this with the secondary. While it indicates trouble for us as well, the secondary can lick their chops because they maybe won’t have a running game and the sky’s the limit for interceptions, whereas, our D-line and LBs may feast on QB in that game and get more stats than they figured.

Offensive Lineman aren’t needed in the passing game? That’s news to me.

Would think that the new inexperienced replacement won’t be able to keep our line and LBs from……where did you get the idea that I said that? Are you trying to do a buddy a favor?

Always hate for any team’s athletes, they work too hard all year to not get on the field. Waiting another year to get back out is a tough pill to swallow. For all the crazy hype we have heard about Sgt. Carter’s group all spring and summer, OL was always the weak spot. To lose two starters before the season begins, and have OU, FU, an Arky before we come riding in will be a major test for Dobbs and company. He is smart, and has talent, but when he faced a rush against Mizzou he looked very flustered. I have to think our pass rush will present major problems for their offense.

This will not slow the UT is the next East champion meme. The problem will be that all of these Hillbillys have grand ideas about this season. What happens if Butch face plants? I hope it happens just for entertainment value alone.
