An embarrassment of riches

It’s a good thing they can get all four of ’em on the field at the same ti… oh, wait.

Maybe Pruitt needs to run a 1-6-3 1-6-4 scheme.

UPDATE:

Hell, maybe they can get them all on the field at the same time.  Good lord, that’s scary to consider.

  1. Granthams replacement

Or a 4-3 with Carter at SAM and Floyd at WILL

We actually had a dime package last year with Jenkins, Bellamy, Carter, and Floyd all on the field. It was really effective.

I love it when those of us out of the arena start the 4-3ing and the 2-6ing and 0-7-4ing.

The 4-3 is such a exotic, seldom used defense. Especially when UGA strength are big strong 3-4 type linemen.

  6. Yeah, I’ve been hearing Bellamy’s name a LOT. Good to see that he got that off the field stuff behind him and seems to really coming up. I’ve actually heard folks sing his praises more than any other LB but I’m sure that’s mostly because FLoyd, Carter and Jenkins are known quantities.

  8. One guy I’d like to see step up is O’Neal. Richt used to mention his name along with Carter and Kimbrough as his thumpers and he was another big LB recruit out of high school.
