Mark Richt, you’re such a tease.

This is starting to border on the comical.

It’s Louisiana-Monroe we’re talking about, right?

Maybe he’s got Schottenheimer working up a game plan with all three of the QBs on the field together.  Or we could just be getting trolled.

I hope Ramsey is the guy and they’re just playing folks. Lambert should be way behind as the one guy but as the season progresses he learns the offense. He has the tools necessary and game experience.

I am thinking it will be Faton Bauta.

Do you really? Don’t get me wrong, I am rooting for that underdawg whose work ethic has been mentioned by more than one player and coach, but his stock seems to have fallen a bit this week.

I agree, but today’s scrimmage will almost certainly show if there is a true “3rd man” identified. Almost has to be, I don’t see a problem with a tight race for 1 and 2 delaying the decision until week 3 of the season but not eliminating one guy falls more in the camp of being indecisive. I felt Bauta would be the pick until the recent camp reports.

I still think it’s Jacob Park.

With this quote, I gotta think he’s trolling:

“I don’t know we may not announce anything,” Richt said. “We may just say come to the game and we might get 100 more people to come to the game or something. Get a higher TV rating.”

  5. Teams routinely prepare during summer/fall practice for games later in the season than the first game. This is about SOS and South Carolina-3rd game of the season. Why tell the Ole Ball Sack who your QB is going to be so he can prepare his D for that guy? I’m beginning to think the QB is going to be Bauta. That would really catch some people off guard, wouldn’t it?

If all three are so close, it would be awfully gutsy to plan for the entire season by switching them around – what if we don’t see much from Bauta in the first couple games and then we throw some option stuff at Spurrier or Saban w/ him? Is anybody expecting that from CMR and a new OC fresh from the NFL? They spent so much time saying nothing was gonna change – what if they throw all sorts of things out there this year?

D coordinators could care less right now. Any one of those Qbs won’t change our offensive philosophy. There’s not sufficient film to get a true handle on Ramsey or even Lambert in this offense. I think we’re going to see Ramsey open against ULM. When and why Lambert plays will be more interesting…blowout scrub time or because Ramsey hasn’t shown command?

BTW, What ever happened to Ivey?

Well at least he didn’t talk about ULM long snapper…

Is there another coach at the same school in the top 5 conferences that hasn’t won their conference in 9 years?
