Talk to me when he fires up the troops against a ranked opponent.

Leadership, regardless of from whom or when, is a much needed ingredient. We will need it in spades this weekend. I don’t care if Munson’s ghost makes the pre-game speech, we will need some encouragement.

We looked more energized coming out the second half after a very poor second quarter.

    Glad to know what happened.

Benchmark game for the Dawgs. UGA against the highly esteemed brand of the great Satan known as Saban. The country perceives Bama, rightly, as the SEC team with the greatest currency in the national CFB conversation. Georgia, not so much. A record of spitting the bit, unfortunately. If we are able to defeat Bama we take a giant step forward in the perception department, both the external and in the internal. Means a lot does this game. I am hoping for the best. I cannot say at all, even at the point of a figurative gun, that we should win. That is an absurd position to take. But, I am hopeful that the defense plays well enough for that to happen. Matty Stinchcomb predicted a 13-7 UGA win. Sounds about right…..Go Dawgs.

“I cannot say at all, even at the point of a figurative gun, that we should win.”

Agreed. But do you notice the change in us (Dawg fans) from times past? We are not saying things like…”If we can bring our “A” game, get the lucky bounce and the planets align just right”. No. Not now-a-days. These days we actually feel like the level of play/team/talent is equal enough that BOTH teams need to come to play. I’m going into this game feeling like our chance of a win is just as good as theirs. That’s a good feeling.

Could we ‘wet the bed’ as some say. Yes, but at least we are not hoping for a win, expecting a loss. We are equal with them on so many levels; from coaching staff to water boy. Even if we end up losing this game, there is no doubting that times have changed and it feels good to be a DAWG!

I am sorry that the young man had to say it. But I am glad it worked when said.

“I’m not what I am not what you would call a handsome man. The good Lord chose not to bless me with… with charm, athletic ability… or a fully functional brain. You see, you’re an inspriation, to all of us who… who weren’t born handsome, and charming and cool, and and… ”
Whatever….Just take encouragement where you can find it.
Be of one heart, one mind and one purpose this Saturday.
Stay Thirsty, my Dawggies and roll the Tide!

If the good Lord had made you a charming handsome man, he would have given you a 2 in dick to compensate. I always think that thought when encountering a charming handsome guy.

You can always go get your windshield washed at the Lowes parking lot. There are two girls out there who don’t care if you aren’t handsome. Always place an old wallet with $10 in your back pocket.
