On the bright side this morning…

At least we can stop worrying about Tennessee being a let down game.

Jesus, I hate blogging on days like today.

Bama is a stronger and deeper team. Two years ago I’d have said we will never, ever catch them. Despite yesterday’s flogging the whole football program is shifting and setting a course to build that kind of team. UGA may not catch them, but they’re re-shaping The Georgia Way.

Please define “The Georgia Way”. We keep hearing that mantra but I don’t think I recall it ever being defined. Interested to hear it

Dead weight on the S&C staff. Piss tests after Spring break. Not putting out early offers because you have to be absolute sure you have to have a kid. Lack of support staff to bolster recruiting….and yes, Richt contributed to these things.

“Bama is a stronger and deeper team.”

No, Bama is a better coached team. And there is only one way to change that.

Plus, there is no “Georgia Way”. There is only the “Mark Richt Way”. And I’m over it.

If you think both lines of scrimmage on that Bama team aren’t vastly superior to UGA’s then we don’t see the same teams. Who on the UGA o-line would start for Bama? Who on UGA’s d-line would start for Bama? No one. Period. You wanna see the formula for Bama’s success? It’s right there.

Because we were super-successful before Richt came along.

I’m actually tired of defending Richt because I’m pretty pissed this morning too, but at least say something accurate in condemnation of him.

Chadwick is dead right. All of our past recruiting classes have been inflated in the rankings by skill positions. We have never been dominate with the lines of scrimmage. This is the reason that we FAIL to be dominate. IT IS THAT SIMPLE!!!!

And we can bring back the black jerseys! It wasn’t their fault! It was the team that sucked all along!

Based on what Florida did last night, I now predict our record at season’s end to be 9-3, maybe 8-4. Letdown or not, the spiritual stronghold of confusion over our program continues and I would not be surprised to see us lose to Florida, Auburn and the Vols.

Yep, you can always looked to Saturday’s results to predict what will happen next. Ole miss beat Alabama so I’m sure that told you they’d turn around and lose 38-10 in the swamp right? No doubt we will now lose to 2-3 Tennessee team and an auburn team in disarray. All is lost…

Thank you. If there’s one thing that makes losing worse, it’s the lamentations of lost seasons after one miserable loss. Especially when those teams we’re supposed to lose to looked just as bad against worse competition.

As someone astutely said last night, yesterday was our annual face plant game; now which upcoming game will be our annual brainfart game?

While it usually doesn’t occur immediately after the face plant game, it is still looming and will appear at some point.

Mac for the win. If any of us can win in the wake of something like yesterday that is. The one thing I absolutely didn’t see happening, a blowout, happened. I don’t know whether I think we didn’t show up or if we just have that far to go but it sure as hell is discouraging to be here again where we always seem to be around this point every season. I’m not calling for firings I just want us to stop doing this. We are always a position or two away and right now it is qb. And guess I just figured out what I think the problem is this time. And to make things worse, Florida looks like the old Florida all of the sudden. The only medicine that will help heal these wounds for me is to whip their asses and ruin what those morons think is a NC run.

You want to talk about f*#k-ups? The brains at CBS picked UGA @ ut as the feature 3:30 game next week!

Butch is coaching for his job at this point. However, I think UT’s offense falls into the Pruitt’s wheelhouse the same way UGA’s offense fell into Smart’s. I suspect the narrative following next week will be, “Where was this team 10/3?!”

I fault the Gamecocks, their sorry asses made us think we had a quarterback when we really didn’t.I hate those deceptive bastards letting us throw all over them. Those sorry sons of a motherless goat.

somewhere late last night, SOS watched highlights of our debacle and fired an air pistol in the direction of Alabama, then holstered it.
