This pretty much sums it up:

“It’s time,” senior wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell said. “We’re in the last half of the season. If we’re going to try to make a push for anything, now’s the time to do so.”

There’s a fine line between a sense of urgency and sheer desperation.  Let’s hope Malcolm and the rest of the team stay on the right side of that line.

Go dawgs! I wanted Bauta to come out on top of the qb competition. I like the idea of the running threat he supposedly possess. Hope springs eternal. Go dawgs and whip that gator ass!!!

I’m sorry to reply to I but it’s the first reply I came to AR the end of the 3rd quarter. Mark right has to go. I have been a right supporter forever but this does it. The fg, followed by the fake punt, wow. I’m done. Go get someone else. I hoped to keep him and thus keep the Washington qb but fuck it. I don’t care anymore. Right has to go. He has produced a joke. It’s not just the outcome, it’s the plays that get us there

Desperation is perfectly fine. It sure beats fake juice.

I’ve read that Bauta being played is supposedly going to be the easiest way to get the fl D into zone coverage. I pray that Malcolm gets his zone coverage and has a career game. Kid deserves it. I also pray that he along with Bauta emerge as the badass leaders of the team and get the dang line fired up to dominate.

So what is wrong with desperation? CMR knows that Lambert would not have moved the ball against Florida, and pics by that secondary would be a given. We desperately need an offensive shakeup, and we only have a chance if we can somehow run the ball effectively and control the clock. Throw in last year and UF’s success this year and the fears that we are getting left behind in the East, and you have a coach feeling some pressure. I think desperation is appropriate; win or lose this game is a big deal.

Ready to win I hope we do well enough that chili goes away.

I just wish we would find a way to use our talent on O. Get the ball to Michel or Marshall where they have just a little room to maneuver. Hicks has had some big gains in the few times he’s gotten his hands on the ball during his career – same can be said of Rome and Blazevich. There’s plenty of sec schools that would love to have the WR tandem of Godwin and Mitchell.

It takes real ingenuity to devolve to such a desperate situation. This has ‘must win’ game written all over it. I truly hope this HC and team show they belong in the sec today.
