Why we can’t have nice things… like touchdowns.

Jeebus.

If I were a Georgia receiver, it would be really hard not to say, “coach, WTF?”.

Didn’t Lambert have difficulty holding on to the ball when wet? It is going to be wet today. They need to keep Lambert on the sidelines today.

As “stone-handed” that some of the receivers have been, they should just concentrate on catching anything that comes their way no matter who’s throwing it. Then, make real sure they hold onto it until they hand it to the ref.

But wait…I thought folks were hollering for Brice to get his shot in a game…well, here it is. (Maybe) What’s the problem? Or is that we’re gonna bitch about whatever happens, no matter what happens?

I’m sure the latter is the plan for many.

Our tailgate was rained out (several inches of water where we usually gather), but I’ll be wearing my black rain jacket to the game in a few hours. The kids deserve a supportive crowd.

2 things are certain: Bitching and it’s the coaches fault.

If we win and look good doing it they’ll bitch about why we didn’t do that last week?

If we win ugly, they’ll bitch because we looked bad against UK.

If we lose, they’ll be happy and say “I told you so,” but still bitch.

      • And we’ll bitch about the bitching. Losing means the horse is already out of the bitching barn…aint no way to stop it now…its just part of the noise around this program

There are other things that are certain. For instance, you will still think coaches are irrelevant to a team’s performance and you will still be mentally competing with some arbitrary 1970 squad while the rest of college football concerns itself with the here and now. Also, Rick and Charles will fall in line with whatever you say and y’all will spend the entire day defending CMR even if he comes out in a UK jump suit and clucks like a chicken every time we get a first down.

No. I’ve changed my tune. Dabo is the best coach in the country because his team is number 1 in the playoff standings. If urban and nick are so much better then why is Dabo ahead of them? That’s just coachin’ right there.

Dabo took this unknown unheard of kid from northeast Georgia and molded him into a leader of men. Deshawn Watson is Dabo’s Frankenstein built with his own two hands. I think it’s safe to say that if Watson had come to Georgia that he’d be playing scout team safety next to Bauta you know because of coaching. I wish they’d give fournette’s heisman to his position coach. Put the trophy where it belongs. I sure did think Thomas brown was a better rb coach before the ut game. He must have just forgot everything he learned about running the football some time after Chubbs first carry.

BTW: I’m not bitching about your bitching. I’m calling out stupid bitches as I see stupid bitches. Any but the stupidest of bitches would know the difference.

So coaches don’t make a difference in how players play yet certain coaches win more than others. I am really having a hard time following your logic. The biggest difference in the UF team this year is the coach so it is just a random occurrence they are winning more this year?

Actually, IMHO the QB problem is really a coaching problem. All three of the Georgia QBs who have played this season could have been a reasonably effective starter if a few things were different. With Fauta it appears that the O doesn’t really meet his skill set i.e. trying to make Tim Tebow a pocket passer. Lambert is probably the best pure passer of the 3 but is gun shy because of years of being mugged in Charlottesville. Ramsey makes bad decisions,,but isn’t that what coaches are supposed to do–teach players to make the right decisions? Pick one and stick with him. This rotating isn’t working. Obviously. And the O-Line has basically disappeared after playing well the first 4 games. I think that is coaching, too.

      • This Richt supporter thinks that the way he has handled the QB situation this
year deserves all of the cricism that he is getting. I have felt that way since
the start of fall camp. Having Bauta taking turns with the Ones this week just
made no sense. Your starter needs all the Reps with the Ones. The OC has
no clue so Richt should have taken charge. That does not mean that I think
Richt should be fired, The OC, that is another story.

Now we’ve got Ramsey punting and Bauta practicing at safety – in addition to getting reps with the first team as QBs! The QB coaching has turned into a looney bin.

If you have a problem with Ramsey punting, you obviously did not see the improvement in the kicking game when he was punting. The kicking game, I am told by folks who know, is pretty important to the overall outcome of the game.

And MR himself has admitted that winning games are not at the top of his list of priorities. So while I enjoyed the game today for the players I’m not going to bow down at the feet of your savior for beating a crappy UK team. And if you haven’t noticed the recurring cycle of MRs teams crapping the bed and then he seems to shake off his malaise and do enough to keep his job then you aren’t as observant as you think you are. Players and coaches come and go. The one constant is the head coach.

But if you’re so terrified of change that you are comforted by mediocrity then MR is the coach for you so good luck with that.
