“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23

Coach Miles is one cool dude, even though he has that “little girl hand clapping” on the sidelines.
Next year coach Miles. Bama’s defense is beyond belief.
Have to hand it to Chubb, he broke that 80+ TD run on them.

I might be wrong, but I coulda sworn it looked like Saban was mocking that clap at one point……

Good grief. Les Miles has won over HALF of his games when trailing entering the 4th Qtr?! Sweet Sassy Molassy. Not surprised to see Richt is under 20%. None of his teams have ever been built to come from behind. Heck, most of them are built to maintain a first half 20-point lead. Ha.

LSU is built much like UGA, run 1st, hopefully solid D.

Les has more confidence in taking risks in the fourth quarter and overtime to win a game. Bret has that confidence, too.
Coach Richt had that type confidence in his first few years here too, but lost that confidence in the second half of his tenure.

He’s not scared to do something new. He just gets 4 million a year to do the same ole same ole.

Yay! It’s another Richterendum! I’m not sure but I think y’all missed the Illinois post and the Missouri boycott post. Surely those can be turned into a Richterendum as well.

Les vs. Bert. Regardless of the outcome, both post-game press conferences will be fun.

That lateral was pure luck and nothing else. The ball hits the ground and happens to bounce right into the arms of their best player on a dead run. Give it to them – they made the play and took advantage of it, but to that point, it was the worst overtime possession I have ever seen.
That it happened to Hugh Freeze is what I loved about it.

In Hugh’s world, that means God was on Bert’s side. Oof.

Has it ever occurred to the talking heads that maybe money isn’t everything, and the human aspect, the love of the game and the competition, the college experience is very meaningful, without a price?
So what if he becomes the next injured guy? So he becomes an accountant. Money, money, money!!!!!!!!!!
