Best faux tweet ever

This wins the Internet today, for sure.

The best part, of course, is you can’t entirely discount the possibility that’s actually happened.

Gonna’ be lots of jokes made about this hire over the next few days and even more jokes when the new hire is actually made. No matter who it is at least 50% of the “fans” and 75% of the media will say he’s a poor choice.

Well, if the quality of the hire is in line with the Georgia Way, I’d say there’s a 100% chance of said statements being as accurate as they are comedic.

  5. I generally am of the opinion that I don’t really care who’s coaching as long as they win but even I don’t think I could stomach Petrino after what he did to the Falcons.

Oh, really? Is it what he did to the Falcons that disqualifies him for you?

      • Yeah. I don’t care about Arkansas. Just reinforces he can’t be trusted. I don’t want a Sandusky for the record. I just don’t have the negative opinion of Saban or Fisher that some do. To each their own.

Are you that out of touch? You have to clarify it that you don’t want a convicted pedophile coaching your alma mater? Are you fucking serious?

          • No. That means I don’t really care if the coach is a “nice guy” or role model or whatever if he wins football games without cheating. Like a Saban. Say what you will about how he pushes right up to the edge but unlike Auburn he doesn’t seem to pay players and hasn’t gotten in any trouble.

The Sandusky was hyperbole and sarcastic. I realize that we differ in opinions on which type of coach we’d like but I’m just giving my opinion and I respect yours. Peace.

I was being sarcastic when I responded to your comment about Petrino. Not sure I’m buying your explanation about Sandusky, but, so be it. Chili, I’ll pass on the pill, but I will chill. I’ve jumped both of you recently about your comments regarding a change at head coach. Now that it’s done, here’s hoping for the best.

…and as long as his name isn’t Mark Richt.

Anybody asked Jerry Sandusky yet if he’d be interested?

Hey, as long as he wins championships…that’s all that matters, right?

That Petrino is still coaching and Mark Richt is not says it all about the win at all costs. Surprised not to see Franklin on the lists.

McGarity and Morehead better hope they hit a home run with this hire or their asses will be gone quicker than a JimmyJohns order.
