I’m so amazed by this decision that I think I’ve lost my capacity to mock it.
Barring a last minute, Cleveland Browns assistant Kurt Roper is expected to be named offensive coordinator at South Carolina by new head football coach Will Muschamp.
The 43-year old Roper was offensive coordinator at Florida in 2014…
Florida finished twelfth in the conference in total offense in 2014.
I can’t help but wonder if Boom told the AD during the interview process that he planned on bringing Roper back. Wow.
Boom + Roper ‘n’ Richt + Willie 4 ever. (Carved into the tree that owns itself.)

Muschamp is like a rabid dog going back to its own vomit.

To be fair. That was his first year at UF with Boom. Either he has learned from the past or will run off the rails…then again not much of a cupboard at SCar.

Yeap and that QB he will have is a spread/running QB, not really a pro-type

Next year is going to be one hell of a show.

It really will be, with shakeups all around; potential recruiting coups based on said shakeups; the very real prospect of having to confront another Bama title. Maybe this is the season Vandy can break through all the confusion to win the East in ’16.

I’m just happy that the Rose Bowl didn’t screw Iowa and go for tOSU.
Now Iowa gets their Rose bowl and tOSU gets a great match-up.

I’m going out on a limb and forecasting that Eason isn’t going to scu. Charlie Weis isn’t gonna like this news either.

Charlie Weis. Kansas should be suing that bastard for what he did to their program. You think Richt’s roster management was bad? http://www.kansascity.com/sports/college/big-12/university-of-kansas/article26908306.html

Yeah, that DC with no head coaching experience calling the shots at a big time program. What a nightmare that turned out to be. You would think everyone could learn from hist…..Wait….nevermind 😉

1.The article said he may be hiring Stacy Searles……….wow! 2. Also, per the article, I can’t believe Rocker would want to get involved over there. 3. Lastly, Boom evidently just made his first visit to the campus in Columbia. I wonder if he let his disappointment show? “Damn, what a dump this place is. And I thought Starkeville and Detroit were bad!”

I think the campus is pretty nice. Too bad it is embedded in the heart of Columbia and the dead cockroach stadium is nowhere near it.

Compared to Miami it’s on campus.

The cock fans have been pretty funny to watch during all this. A week ago they all thought the notion of Muschamp being their guy was preposterous and beneath them. Now they’re calling it the “best staff ever.” Hope Springs eternal in Cola town.

1-3 against the Dawgs. Of course, a 75% winning percentage will get you fired, so there’s that.

On a serious note, even if we give Muschamp the benefit of the doubt, make excuses for him and say he just never recovered from the Weis here at Florida, what makes anyone think he can win at USC? Even if he gets all his hires right, the cupboards are bare there, and how is he going to recruit guys there when UGA now has a rockstar recruiter who will have GA locked down tighter than Richt ever did, Dabo has all the recruiting clout he needs to lock down that state…. I mean, Spurrier had a way of getting more out of the guys he had and getting the occasional superstar, but Boom? Doesn’t strike me as the type who’s gonna get any Marcus Lattimore’s to come there.

Plus now Florida’s better off than when he was there, and Richt and Jimbo are going to lock up a ton of FL recruits.
They aren’t getting another Clowney any time soon.
