Just ask Kirby Smart.
On how much time he is spending daily on Georgia: “Five or six hours. I sleep about six hours so that leaves, what 10 or 12 (on Alabama)? This has changed everything,” Smart said, holding up his cellphone. He noted, “The bus ride over here to the stadium was 30 minutes,” enough time for phone calls.
Smart said Saban has been very accommodating and that he has been excused from recruiting or academic meetings since accepting the Georgia job.
That doesn’t mean he isn’t having any recruiting meetings these days.
If Smart is channeling his inner Ron Zook, Georgia could be in trouble

Glad to read this. I was worried.
I forgot. Does that make me an old hen or a ninny?

As a father of a newborn, I’d kill for 6 hours of sleep a night right now. Of course, I also don’t have Kirby’s demanding work schedule, among other things.

Get your wife to breast feed and let the baby sleep in the bed with you and the wife. It saved my sanity. Made sex a little more difficult, but you have to be creative.

Haha, he’s been ‘excused’ from recruiting meetings for a school he is recruiting against. Do the depths of Saban’s charity know no bounds?

Got a laugh out of that myself. It was almost as funny as the “academic” meetings from which he was excused.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. How nice that Saban no longer thinks Kirby should be troubled with having to attend meetings that map out his plan for the program’s future and recruiting against Georgia.

Saban: “I trust him that he is a recruiting spy of Georgia, no doubt, that is why he is excuse from Alabama recruiting meetings”,
