Take a sobering look at the change in attendance figures Mark Richt is staring at… although the early start excuse is bullshit.

When some disgruntled Miami fan cusses about the playcalling from the stands, at least he’ll know his voice will be heard on the sideline, I guess.

    I keep wondering if Richt is going to show up for his first home game and wonder what the heck a baseball stadium is doing there.

      They’re not apathetic. They’re front-runners. As soon as Mark Richt notches win number 10 down there in a few years, there will be a lot of people in those stands (and not a single Miami hat or shirt that is more than a year old).

        We’ll see. When they played in the OB, I’d agree with you. But now? Even if they are da U of old, they are still in a pro stadium with no buzz, with seats 30 yards from the sidelines, in a city flooded with sun and high end p.

        In other words, lots to do in Miami on a Saturday other than go roast in a stadium watching a college that most of their fans couldn’t sniff getting into.

    The thought of going to a UM game makes me feel like when I have to go to the mall, and I hate going to the mall. They are lucky the TV money came along.

    Miami wanted to change their image so they got one of the most respected coaches in college football. They got what they wanted, if he can win more than they have been winning that’s just gravy. Mark should be in a decompression chamber to prevent the bends. It couldn’t have been much fun in Athens these last few years.
