Now is the $6,931 the average cost of commuting from home to his office.

He did a spectacular job at UGA. He grew the endowment massively and presided over getting rid of Vince “Program Cancer” Dooley.
I don’t know where you get the “grew the endowment massively” from. Georgia’s endowment is puny compared with universities it considers its peers.
And it was even worse before him.
He got Georgia back on track. From memory, I believe he tripled it in his first 12 years.
I agree, and I’ll kick anybody’s ass that says otherwise!
