“The beach is a really bad place.”

When you’re Les Miles, the beach is merely a state of mind.

Honestly, if LSU had canned him last year, I would have mourned his passing.

“For instance, there was no, like, crabs there.”

The dude was at Panama City Beach. I can assure you there were plenty of crabs there.

I love that guy. I wonder if he’s ever had a thought inside his head for more than three seconds before he said it. That includes his on-field decisions.

CMR over analyzed things vs Les who does not know the word, one is still employed at same job.

Except for the fact he’s not from Louisiana, can you think of a more perfect coach and representative for LSU? I can’t. He epitomizes LSU to me.

I’m pretty sure that in some instances, like this, he is intentionally hilarious.

Les is even more valuable now that Spurrier is no longer on the sidelines. The way the game is changing, we aren’t likely to see many of their kind in the future. I remember once, back before the Braves got good in the nineties, during a particularly sloppy performance Skip Carey intoned that “as long as you promise to buy all our sponsors products you have my permission to change the channel.” Pure gold. Don’t make them like that anymore.

I remember watching a Braves game in LA back in the mid 80’s when they were terrible, and the camera was following this woman as she walked down the aisle with two beers. She was wearing a bikini so everyone was just watching. When she got to her aisle, she turned her back to the camera to start edging to her seat and she was wearing something close to a thong, which wasn’t seen back then, especially on TV. You could almost hear the producer screaming into the announcers’ ears to not comment, when finally Skip spoke up and said “reminds me of the butcher that backed into his meat grinder and got a little behind in his work”.
