How will we REALLY know until we get the scrimmage stats 90 days from now???
However I am going to conclude that you definitely put him in front of Murray in the depth chart at this point. No brainer in my book.

I mean, I generally have to turn my head to watch a pass sail from any direction thrown by any QB

LOL, good one. FWIW, practice hype is meaningless.

This is just what i was told, and my source has always been reliable–he was able to name and identify several of Herschel’s alternate personalities before they were outed in Psychology Today–but he said that at the Saturday scrimmage, Kirby had the strongest guys on the team carry a huge anvil out to midfield. It had a football sunk into it. Ramsey couldn’t pull it out. Lambert stepped up, and he couldn’t pull it out. Then #10 walked up, pulled out the ball, and threw it 80 yards on a laser path to Terry Godwin in the upper deck. Hear me now and believe me later.

Locker room buzz about freshman is such bs and I can prove it. Remember when Todd Gurley was a freshman and during summer camp players were comparing him to Trent Richardson? That was a bunch of bs. Todd is a lot better than Trent Richardson.

Buck spoke pretty highly of Eason on the radio today…

I heard what he said, and it was hopeful, but not ridiculously ecstatic. What I took away was that while Eason has talent, it’s also clear that he’s not ready for the speed of the college game – especially the SEC game. Had a much slower release than either Lambert or Ramsey, threw off his back foot (don’t all the guys with arm cannons do that?) and stuff like that. The good news it’s all correctable with practice. Hopefully.

Yep, seemed like an honest assessment to me.

I heard Lambert is the starter and at the moment Eason and Ramsey are battling for who will be the starting punter.

Well, that is what happens when you throw 5 feet behind the receiver. Snicker

It didn’t say whether those heads turned TOWARD the field or AWAY from it.

What the hell is the tech mascot doing at our scrimmage? Mark Richt never let that happen.

You don’t need sources when you’ve got “the buzz.”
