There are days…

… when I can see why a midwest football program might like to schedule spring practice down South.

Don’t be too hard on them. They’re getting close to the 12 weeks of wonderful weather they have up there.

Yes. I just looked it’s 28 degrees in Ann Arbor and snowing and feels like 18 degrees. How many southern recruits would Michigan have up there this weekend? We are sunny and 60 degrees in Athens. Where do you want to be in April? That NCAA ruling hurt.

    Yankee…northerner in the South.
Damn Yankee…a Yankee who stays. Can you blame us?! 😉

Not a bit. The only Yankees I have a problem with are the ones who move down here, presumably because they didn’t like it where they were, and then proceed to bitch about everything in their chosen new home state and region. And then try their damnedest to change everything so it will be more like the place they decided to leave. I know a guy from Illinois that decided to move to Mississippi. He spends nearly all of his time on Facebook raising hell about how awful the people in Mississippi are. Then go back to Illinois, jackass.

I was at the U of Illinois admitted students day yesterday with my daughter. There were kids from the South and West coast in attendance. The weather was terrible with rain and snow flurries, so I told my daughter those kids would be batshit crazy to go here – LOL. I tried one last hard sell on her for UGA, but guess she’s used to the weather and in state tuition ain’t all that bad;-)
