I’d say that’s insane, but it’s just the way they roll these days.

    If there are “personal behavioral standards” called for in that contract, ULou has gambled little. Bobby must either become much better behaved, or sneakier. I’m betting on the latter.
    I think I could behave myself for that kind of money.

    $4.3 million a year. And what the hell has Bobby Petrino ever won? As near as I can tell, the only thing he’s ever won was a 2006 Big East title and Orange Bowl at Louisville. Other than that… what? A Cotton Bowl at Arkansas? What is it about this guy that people are so crazy about?

      Damn if I know…I can’t think of a much better gig than a CFB head coach…do well and you make millions…do poorly and you make millions…look at Richt as he went to Miami for $4 million and ADGM sends him off with another $4 million (may be getting that over time)…our old coach picks up $8 million for underachieving…ain’t this country great? 😉

        It’s just because there’s so many law school grads, when they try to find work they decide to be an agent and we get lawyers who exist solely to ratchet up what everyone gets paid. Maybe we should start an employment agency for educators/teachers. When they start fighting over each other maybe pay will go up in education, then I could go back and do what I always wanted to do.
