Brian Cook ❤ Hugh Freeze. Really ❤.

I know there’s an agenda behind this, but, boy, does Cook lay into Ole Miss’ head coach here:

Elsewhere in how Freeze gets work done. Interesting little glimpse inside the sausage factory Freeze is running at Ole Miss from a doofus with money:

An Ocean Springs businessman claimed to have offered his guest house to unnamed college football players rent-free, only to later amend his story. But a source with knowledge of the situation said Scott Walker’s neighbors were told by the renters they paid for a two-night stay at his home last weekend.

Renting his home on a short-term basis would be a violation of local ordinances, and when first contacted by the Mississippi Press Walker said it was “four university players” who were “absolutely not paying” to stay in his guest house.

That raised red flags, because a booster (Walker is an Ole Miss grad and fan) offering free or reduced rent is a clear-cut NCAA violation.

Ole Miss cheats. Hardcore, all the time. That’s how a nobody high school coach with one year at Arkansas State who arrives at a school with a fanbase that mostly still wants a plantation owner as their mascot and zero success in the past 50 years starts recruiting five-stars. I’m resigned to the fact that this will happen forever, and that the correct solution is to let people pay the players without repercussions.

But you run the cheatingest program in the country and you get sanctimonious about your free time? Harbaugh’s just trying to level the playing field out a little bit here. Freeze can take his vacations and come back knowing that an Ole Miss offer has thousands of dollars behind it that a Michigan one doesn’t.

Woof.  I think my eyebrows are singed.

Ahem, Auburn would like to have a word with Mr. Cook regarding the following statement: “you run the cheatingest program in the country” as they’ve been doing it longer and better.

Is it just me, or does the off-season get dumber every year? Other possibility: just the Dumb and Dumber Venn Diagram overlap of “Hugh Freeze” and “Inalienable Right to Satellite Camp.”

Well done Mr Cook. Well done.

Wow…that guy certainly did not mince his words! I have to say that like the others above…I agree with his perception of Ole Miss except for the fact that he has probably never been to Lee County. Those boys are #1 in the “If you ain’t cheating…you ain’t trying” programs.

The idea that Michigan is above cheating and doesn’t do it is patently absurd.

I have a problem deciding who is more sleazy, Harbaugh or Freeze. But having a bigger issue figuring out why the NCAA hasn’t done something about Ole Miss and the cheating that has been not only widely rumored, but confirmed last year with Tunsil. Tell me again what takes so long to have action on recruiting violations? It took about 8-10 years on Reggie Bush at USC, 5-6 so far on Cam at Auburn, and now 2-3 on Tunsil. And that doesn’t even deal with these new housing/resort privileges in Mississippi.

it’s hard out there for a pimp. And for a lyin’ thief, too.

  9. Guy pretty much summed up what I’ve been saying about Sleeze for years. All of a sudden a school that hasn’t really been relevant since before southern football was integrated all of a sudden is luring top recruiting classes predominantly made up of black kids to a school that is in the most racist state in the south. That has fans that used to love Colonel Reb and waved the rebel flag in the tens of thousands every game. And there’s nothing shady going on?

I’ll give Freeze credit for one thing: unlike Auburn he realizes that the ncaa won’t do crap so he blatantly tells people to prove it. Though the Auburn “all in” BS isn’t too different I guess.

This is going to make Hugh’s pelt stand straight up

But of course, the University of Michigan’s football program is as pure as the driven snow and it’s just a shame that Coach Harbaugh has to spend so much time recruiting and coaching the team because it takes away from his work with the poor and his participation in scholarly research with the University’s faculty.

I wish the NCAA still did enforcement. I have daydreams about Michigan getting caught.

Who, for the love of Pete, cares what Brian Cook had to say about Ole Miss football? I guess he feels better now that he’s gotten that off his chest.

It was fun to read, though….

Brian (Mitchagain homer) writing anything objective about the Ole Miss (or the SEC) would be the equivalent of the RNC having anything objective to say about Monica Lewinsky’s boyfriends wife!! Your pulling an Ajc click bait bro. Shame on me for biting!

Um, I think Gus was the 1 year wonder at Arky State. And freeze was at southern miss.
