Another SEC West “if you ain’t cheatin'” story

This one sounds like it’s gonna leave a mark.

Bo Davis is expected to leave his position as assistant football coach at the University of Alabama over an inquiry into possible recruiting violations, The Tuscaloosa News has learned. Davis is expected to resign or be fired from his job.

UA has been conducting an internal investigation and the NCAA has also made inquiries into the matter.

If you’re Alabama, it’s the ripple effect you really have to be concerned about… who else knew, when did it happen, for how long, etc.

Finebaum should be epic tomorrow.

And by the way, hope that our new coach is in no way involved.

What did they know and when did they know it? This year’s recruiting? Was Kirby there when his line coach did wrong? We have questions.

You’re doing this so that we can fret over Bama’s FOI policy/law also, aren’t you? 🙂

A smiley face was placed on the end, but didn’t print out. In my absence, have I missed a new way to post the smiley-face emoticon?

And now supposedly Tunsil has told reporters that he did take money from that coach. How is that for dumping on your head coach who has been speaking up for him all night? I am SO glad that this POS opted not to come to Athens regardless of how great he was on the field.

I got to hand it to Saban. Announcing this on the eve of the draft is brilliant. And if he hired the Tunsil hacker, it is absolutely genius

The sovereign state of Alabama, from governor to McDonalds clerk, has already been reminded of the Code of Omerta.

It will disappear. Never to be mentioned again. Like the football dorm, drug dealing TE that was arrested with over a pound of pot & $4000. He was in the dorm the same time 2 bigtime Bama players were kicked off the team for beating up a UA student to steal change for a snack machine. That story disappeared into thin air. The “ripple effect” will be someone fired for revealing too much info.
