One thing Kirby’s got going for him.

Nice schedule, fellas.

McGarity’s learned something from Jeremy Foley.

So, is Clemson the winner of this year’s Corch Irvin Meyers “Most Likely To Make The Playoffs With Cream Puff Schedule” award?

    • Yep but you can’t blame Clemson that the wheels have fallen off the Gus Bus and Malzahn’s horseshoe is somewhere at the bottom of the Chattahoochee River and that SOS left the USCe program in shambles from a talent standpoint after quitting like a coward last year.

I was going to comment similarly: Not McGarity’s fault that Tech went from a divisional title to the crapper, that the Cocks returned to their rightful place in the SECe, and that Mizz voted not to take a bowl invite last year. Who’d have guessed all that before the season started last year?

So when Kirby wins big will the same posters decry those wins as beating no one with a pulse?

Dawgrade (v.) – using hindsight in the wake of a Georgia win to reduce the stature of a previously feared opponent to that of an also-ran. (h/t WH) See also, Pupgrade.

    • No, because unlike your idol who we shitcanned, it Kirby hasn’t built a career out of just getting by with enough wins over teams without a pulse to give him “one more year.” He needs about 10 of those in a row before we start giving him the Richt treatment.

Kirby has not been the head coach anywhere so he has zero wins. But your comment proved my point. Stay classy.

A reasonable person would have replied, “No, because disparaging wins is an idiotic thing to do and we should respect Kirby’s victories, and we are pleased he had a lot of them. The civil war is over and the players do not deserve minimizing their successes to keep a settled dispute alive.”

Are you related to any of those Japanese soldiers that were still fighting WWII in the 1960s? War’s over, man.

There is no way our schedule can be any easier than last season. Outside of Bama, last season’s schedule was a cupcake buffet.

    • This is a 11 or 12 win schedule if I’ve ever seen one. No excuses Substitute a depleted Ole Miss team for Nat’l Champion Bama and this is the definition of a cupcake schedule. UNC is an ACC school that lost it’s star QB and UT is between the Hedges. There is no excuse for losing any games with this sisters of the poor schedule . This is a joke schedule and if we don’t play in Atlanta we fire everyone at Butts-Mehre.

New coach, big questions on defensive line and a nervous as a cat returning qb or true freshman qb and maybe I can see 2 or 3 losses. UNC, Ole Miss and UT are the only real question marks I see. A trip to Atlanta is definitely doable.

Last season should have been a 1 loss regular season and a trip to Atlanta.

You did not answer Debbie Balcer’s question. She did not ask how may we would lose. She asked wither you would discount the value of what wins we have and lead the “We did not beat anyone worth a damn” parade. Two totally different points.

Outside of Bama, we play the same SEC “cupcakes” we played last year. We play Tech, just as last year. We play 3 “buy a win” games, indistinguishable from last year. That is the same “cupcake buffett” you say we dined upon. Why are those 11 “cupcakes” worthy opponents this year?

Besides Nicholls St and UL Lafayette, who is the other “buy a win game”? And no, Tech isn’t an acceptable answer.

Easiest schedule Dawgs had in last 15 years. Will be favored in every game. There should be zero “wet the bed” or belly flops as you like to use.
