Nick Chubb is a man of his word.

Do you need another reason to watch the opener now?

Believe Nick and Sony both get a hundred against that defense.

over/under on Chubb rushing yards has to be 225.

I still hope they don’t start him but call a timeout- let the crowd see Sony run off the field–and trot #27 out there. DVR material for the ages !

I think you’ll see them both on the field, first play. I expect Sony to be used in a variety of ways this year…assuming Chubb is healthy enough to give us that luxury.

It’s really not stretching belief to think that he either will or won’t play substantially in the early games. It was a bad injury, but different people rehab at different speeds. And if there’s ever been a guy with a work ethic, it’s Chubb. Regardless, the way he’s approaching it is a credit to him and to UGA. Proud to call him a Dawg.

From what I am hearing, he has gained a ton of extra upper body strength during his rehab. So while he was pretty big before, they are saying he is noticeably larger.

It’s just not fair to opposing teams. After a few carries, they’ll start turning down contact with him.

He has the heart of a lion…but that was his PCL he tore. I expect YAC for Nick will be less as he gains strength and confidence. Driving through tackles won’t be the same for awhile.

    Come on Nick…Come on Nick!!

Has Chubb been hit yet? Has he cut at all, much less in traffic? Has he had to plant that foot in the ground to change direction in hopes of gaining 5 more yards? I will believe it when I see it. I do not expect the kid to play until the midpoint of the season. Anything sooner and I will be floored. The kid suffered an awful injury…to be where he is today is a credit to his work ethic and desire.
