The Coaches Poll is back. Not that you should care…

Yes, America’s least relevant vote is here again, for what it’s worth.  Georgia starts out ranked sixteenth, also for what it’s worth.

Richt’s average finish is about 10th……already in the hole – need to work hard to get “butter”.

What’s his average end of season ranking the last 7-8 years with that 9.1 win average?

    • PTC DAWG

Last 10 years, not ranked at seasons end 3 times. The other 7 average out to 13.43….so no top 10 ranking average..not even close…

  2. Guess Booch gave his team a 1st place vote

    • That’s what I was thinking haha.

Read that he does not have a vote in this poll. And this is the least significant poll of all. Surprised the media even gives it coverage, well, scratch that, nothing about the media in this country can be very surprising. Given that it is a joke by all who comment on it, why do they even waste the SID’s time?

Lowest SecW team is AU at 39….only SecE teams with votes. The rest, stink.

      3 SecE teams….edit.

Only 3 Secw Teams have winning records against the SECE. And what surprise that 3 SECE teams have winning records against the west. Good part of that due to Ga and Fla dominating that division last 15 years. Excepting Bama of course who no one can touch.

Why is Florida 10-4 at 25, and Georgia is 10-3 at 16? would 10-4 not indicate a playoff berth?

So do we have to invite our neighbors over and start a pyramid sales club to view the poll?

I really, really, really hate to say this. But Georgia is often over-ranked in preseason polls. This, based on where we start versus where we end up. I think we’ll end the season around #20 if we win our bowl. Unranked if we don’t.
