At Auburn, what if that’s all there is?

Helluva lede in Pro Football Focus’ preseason preview of the Tigers:

Auburn has won more than eight games in a season just once since 2011, going 12-2 in 2013.

It’s maddening. We’ve beaten them 8/10 years, but the two years they’ve won they’ve gone on to the NC game, winning once.

Richt, in the end, had lots of dumb luck

Wonder what our records would have been the last few years if we’d been in the west. Playing Alabama and LSU EVERY year. and trade Missouri for ole miss. Methinks we wouldn’t be talking about a bunch of 10 win seasons

And what if everyone knew that horse had already expired when you took that, hopefully, last lash?

And of course, athletes never raise their level of intensity when playing certain opponents so I am sure you are perfect in your predictions of what would have occurred. I don’t recall UGA being unable to compete with the West.

You may as well wonder what Jim Donnan could have done playing in the West. Bama and LSU were both down while UT and UF won National Titles during his time in Athens.

Auburn knows they are always just one felony arrest of a player at another SEC school away from a good season.
