You guys know how I feel about ESPN’s KC Joyner.
I’m not happy right now.

Why would you be unhappy about a national prognosticator writing NICE things about Georgia? Lord knows so many of them have been “dawg-grading” the team for years. I’m optimistic about the Dawgs and happy that one of those “experts” is too.
I can’t get behind the paywall, so I don’t want to put words in his mouth. But it’s not exactly seeing around corners to say that a team with Nick Chubb should get a few yards on the ground against a defense that gave up 675 rushing yards to Baylor’s pass-oriented offense.
Let’s be honest (as much as we all dislike being honest): UNC isn’t exactly Alabama when it comes to being a college powerhouse. They’re a decent program in a P5 conference, not the 76 Steelers. This is exactly the kind of game we should be expected to win, so I don’t see why it’s going out on a limb for some national writer to acknowledge UGA has a pretty good team and should win the game. It’s not like he’s picking us to go undefeated and unscored upon.
Most UNC fans would say the same things about us in regard to their chances of winning – that we are not one of very best teams in our conference and we’re a program that now has an entirely new coaching staff. I’m sure they believe they are catching us at a very good time and the betting line would suggest that it would be no surprise whoever wins. I don’t have any idea what to expect in this game. They are certainly better than they showed against Baylor…they very nearly beat Clemson in the ACC championship game. We’ve disappointed so many times over the past decade that I’m not getting my hopes up. I’d take a one point win right now.
Rememember Bluto, even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Kiss of death. Joyner isn’t even right twice a day.
