I’m officially taking a temperature reading with this post. We had less than two dozen folks participate in last year’s Mumme Poll, and, frankly, it’s not worth the trouble to run it for that few number.
And given that I satisfied myself a few years ago that approval voting was a less biased way to rank college football teams, the only reason Tidefan and I keep the Mumme Poll going is for the sheer enjoyment of participating. So, unless there’s sufficient interest in keeping the MP in play, I intend to shutter it for good.
Let me know in the comments if any of you are still interested in casting ballots.

I loved the idea and wanted to participate more… however I don’t follow enough of the other teams to have a well informed opinion.
If you don’t run the poll again this year, I would still like it if you posted what your poll votes would have been.

I am witch Chris. I don’t watch enough non-Georgia or non-SEC games anymore to have a well informed opinion on a national scale.
I do enjoy the Mumme Poll posts though. Even if it is shuttered, it would be nice to have a weekly post where those who are interest can post their lists. Everyone can still get a feel for what others think even if no one does an official calculation.

What’s your criteria for voter eligibility? Because I’m more than happy to assign numbers to teams I don’t know much about beyond a couple of blog posts.

I will sign up or see if I am still signed up, I seem to remember having difficulty with the host and giving up. Like others, it’s perfectly understandable if you feel that you’d rather not mess with it and I do hope you at least remain public with your ballot and snarky opinions. The sb nation tsk power poll seems to rely heavily on your wit.
