Obvious award is obvious.

Honestly, if it had been anyone else, I would have demanded an investigation.

Hopefully, Sony and Brian and Elijah will be able to carry more of the load the next couple of weeks.

I’d like to see a fresh Nick Chubb face a tired defense in Oxford.

Nationally Chubb was over shadowed by the RB from Pitt that was back from cancer. At least he is back in the discussion for the Heisman.

It will be real fun if we could have a legit Heisman contender the entire season.

I believe the last time that happened was Hearst in 92.

  4. Coaches are loving “Kirby the Genius” now and voted the Dawgs up to #9, at least till the next big game, LOL.

  5. Go Dawgs!

I can’t express how thrilled I was for Nick Chubb on Saturday. I can’t think of anybody else on the planet who deserved to have that kind of game more than #27. Chubb is the hardest working athlete that I’ve ever seen. And he certainly seems to be one of the finest men we’ve had in our program.

I really think Chubb’s my favorite Bulldog ever. So happy to see him overcome a huge obstacle. It’s inspirational.

  6. And he’s now the Heisman frontrunner and we’ve jumped 9 freaking places in the poll. I’m scared

  7. Chubb is now my 2nd favorite UGA RB. what cemented that was sitting in the dome and telling my dad before that long td possession that it didn’t matter who the QB was because that drive was gonna be about Chubb. Little did I know that the drive would be all of one play. I can’t think of a better sports example of humility, hard work and perseverance.

Hey, y’all, we top ten again!

Just the epitome of DGD’edness in every possible sense of the phrase, both on and off the field. Could not be more thrilled to pull for such a fine young man!

Just hope that Fate will be kind and that he will be healthy the rest of his career: college and pro.

Another Georgia Point of…. Forget the slogan, let’s push Chubb for Heisman. It couldn’t go to a more deserving player.

  12. This may be the laziest line written all year and, given the source, THAT’S saying something…

But is that saying much? Georgia loses to North Carolina without Chubb’s 222 yards and two touchdowns.

Well shit, Ed. I guess Bama would be in danger of losing without all those 5 stars as well. I guess there’s a reason coaches recruit so hard.

A&M apparently got no movement. Interesting.

  14. We’re gonna find out a lot about Smart’s abilities as a HC over the next couple weeks. Between what Chubb did and the huge jump in polls it’s gonna be tough. From what I saw from everyone else, yes, I believe we’re top 10 team but I wish the polls didn’t reflect that right now. Also, I believe we’re at least as good as anyone on our schedule but I also remember how that’s played out before. Just be like Chubb, guys. Just be like Chubb.

I also think it’s gonna be tough for Kirby to not micromanage and he basically admitted as much after the game. He’s got a tough road ahead.
