Is there something in the water at Toomer’s Corner?

Seriously, what is it with some people and those trees?

He needs to spend a minimum of a year in the Lee County Jail, with no early release, and a big, big fine that he actually has to pay, unlike Harvey Updyke. That is the only way this stupid crap will ever stop.

“….desecration of a venerable object, Auburn police said.”
Every team that’s able to are gonna see how many points they can put on our home scoreboard and carry off a piece of “the hedges”.
    Especially uT and the nerds.
    Sigh.

Sounds like it’s a local guy and not an LSU fan, as originally reported.

It’s not the first time this has happened, as I remember seeing it after our game against Cam Newton.

As much as I dislike seeing college traditions die out (even ones as silly as this one), it may be time to put an end to it before they find themselves with a Texas A&M-type tragedy.

It is bo dumber than the Wisconsin jump a round, or dozens of other traditions at schools around the country. Nothing wrong with them unless they are physically dangerous. It doesn’t matter if we like them, or understand the appeal. But this current society is badly behaved and intent on inflicting their selfish wills to tear down what isn’t theirs. Very little respect for our laws or the justice system, including punishments given out.

Maybe he was so drunk he thought he was in West Virginia and the tree was a sofa.

Are they gonna charge all those Barners with Desecration of a Venerable Object when they throw tons of butt tape in the trees? I’m just askin’..
