Mullen has been at MSU since 2009. For some reason, he left out his first year there.

McElwain had better pick up the pace down in Gainesville if he wants to stick around. Scott Stricklin likes Dan Mullen quite a bit and I’m sure he’d love to bring him back to Gatorland. Now that there’s about to be a new AD in Starkville, Dan might be more apt to look around.

Mullen will never be the coach at UF. Just ain’t happening.

      • The rumor is that Mullen had why too much of Urban’s stink on him for Foley’s taste. Now that Foley isn’t calling the shots, who knows?

Yeah, my understanding was that Foley was the stumbling block for Dan Mullen coming back to Florida. I don’t know how the rest of the Bull Gators feel about him, but I know that the Florida AD is now a big fan of his.

If Miss St. had the budget for a DC that would win many more

Clearly a certain someone, who’s shoulders rub against the bottom of his ears, is still bitter about being passed over by Foley after Urban left. Let it go man.

Using Mullen’s reasoning, UF should’ve hired Dak Prescott.

People can bash Mullen all they want but the dude has kicked some ass at a serious bottom dweller. There is no amount of coaching talent that could take State much higher than he’s had them. Florida, without question, would have done much better since Meyer if they had hired Mullen instead of Muschamp.

Florida is an offense first school and they keep banging their heads against the wall with these Saban disciples. I love it.

Heard from some sources that Dan Mullen is possible candidate for LSU.
Think he is a very good coach at a school with limited resources. He is patient and he is a straight up coach. Lost his AD and DC to Florida. What does that say about MSU.
Plus he recruits well in Georgia.

I think he’s “sleeper” who will get his chance and make it count.
What happens if Freeze leaves O’MS because of…you know..the NCAA thingy?
Somebody’s going to give him a second chance.
