“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
I swear to god, He and Urban are perfect for each other in that conference. I hope Harbaugh has a good enough team just so he can talk some smack to ole’ Urb and back it up.

They have turned me into a Michigan State fan.

ditto. I immensely enjoyed the fact that Mich. State broke both their hearts last year! Unfortunately I don’t think they will be repeating this year.

I always enjoyed Harbaugh sticking his assholery in Pete Carroll’s face. It’s about the only way I could tolerate it, though. Hopefully he and Urbz, as heyberto said, provide us with an epic Douchebaggery Bowl when their teams meet each year.
Those two really take the cake.

Damn, that is downright Spurrieresque.

I haven’t decided if Harbaugh is more Spurrier or Urban. Spurrier always had a little tongue in cheek quality and colorfulness to his trash talk. Urban was just a straight up dick.

Harbaugh is more Spurrier because snark is part of his vocabulary, but there’s always a nasty aggressiveness to his act that makes it harder to laugh at, IMO.

Yeah, he doesn’t have OBC’s personality, for sure. I hadn’t paid enough attention to him to know which he was.

I said in an earlier post that Harbaugh is Spurrier without the winning personality.

And that is well put. I don’t even know how fans of ohio and Meechigan can like them. The decent fans of both have to apologize for the HCs they have in any CFB discussion.

Urb will attempt to out douche the booger eater by claiming to be attempting a field goal after scoring a touchdown……

With him and Corch, it’s really hard to know who’s 1 and who’s 1a.

The only good thing about Harbaugh at this point is that he may be able to neutralize squirrel head.

Cool down folks. Harbaugh is just being sure his family and friends gets cheap steaks from Ruth Chris.

Senator, I’m sorry but I have protest your use of the “D” word vs Trump’s “P” word, LOL.

Geeze. Rutgers didn’t get a first down until the score was 71-0.

Kind of sounds like he was hoping to generate buzz by beating GT’s highest scoring game ever on it’s anniversary.

Yes he is. But there is a small but significant redeeming quality that The Old Ball Coach has (he’s very entertaining) that JH and Corch are missing. So I can’t lump SOS in with those two.
Meanwhile, most of us can go ahead and put Michigan on our hate list.

As someone who was born in MI, had family play for Bo, and hates the Buckeyes almost as much as I hate Florida, I’m willing to turn a blind eye to Harbaugh’s insane dickishness … as long as it becomes a regular feature of the UM-OSU rivalry.

To be fair, the Rutgers coach (Ash) has beef with Harbaugh and has accused him of poaching HS talent from NJ. Really weird and basically dumb stuff, especially considering that NJ HS talent should be applauded for wanting to get the heck out of NJ.
Midway thru the third quarter Rutgers had something like -7 total yards…unreal.

By the way SB, Harbaugh didn’t call for a two point conversion up 27-0…he called for a trick play, in which the holder/backup qb faked the hold on the PAT then ran the ball in after rceiveing the snap. So yea…it was actually worse than the box score indicated.

I’d have done it as note of ‘thanks’ to Delany for bringing such a dullard program into the conference.
At least Maryland can play some hoops.

True, Rutgers should be in the Patriot League. Didn’t know they even had a football team until earlier this century.

For the record, the “Harbaugh’s a dick because he took totally unnecessary measures to run up the score” hypothesis is complicated somewhat by the facts that (a) Michigan spent basically the entire second half running mostly the second- and third-team, and (b) for the entire second half, they threw the ball only 3 times, and ran the ball 30 times.
So he may be a dick, but he willfully passed up an easy opportunity to be a much bigger dick.

Harbaugh is certifiable. CNN is reporting he’s the secret love child of Hillary and Huma Abedin.

Maybe Trump came on to Ms. Harbaugh like a bitch and grabbed her by the pussy? Who knows? What we do know is that Jim’s mom is a republican.
“Jacqueline Harbaugh, the mother of the two teams’ head coaches John and Jim Harbaugh, gave $400 to Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) in 2010 and $200 to McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign.”
