It’s not easy to lose a game in which you go +5 in turnover margin. It’s virtually impossible to lose when you combine that with not one, but two, defensive touchdowns.
That’s not an exaggeration.
How was this miracle achieved? Well, I don’t want to get into all the gory details, but suffice to say this might be the single dumbest play call I’ve ever seen.
A fake punt. On fourth-and-nineteen. From your own end zone. With the kicker running. Whoever called that shouldn’t have been allowed back on the team bus after the game.
From now on, I will judge the degree to which a call is boneheaded by measuring it against this play. It’s my new go-to gold standard. Thanks, BYU.

The last Georgia play vs Vandy after they showed their offensive plan to Vandy, and Vandy called time out again to reaffirm their defense while UGA never considered changing the offensive call considering the poor offensive line play on runs in that game and what the Vandy defense was showing. May not be as dumb, but close enough. Same result in a game where the UGA’s passing offense dominated the game and sack Vandy QB more often as well.

I read some of the comments on the Boise paper thread. Amazing, they have some fans bitching about the team and the coaches. They are 7-0. I continue to be stunned by some people as fans.
